So you think Ron Paul is crazy? (2002 video shows him making stunningly accurate predictions)
American Thinker ^ | 01/09/2012 | Jason McNew

Intellectually speaking, we live in fascinating, if dangerous, times. Given a larger view of history, it should be understood that nations, political systems, and currencies come and go on a fairly regular basis. Human freedom is an exception -- not the norm.

There are four core components necessary for the existence of an independent, sovereign nation: A system of laws (constitutional or otherwise,) geographical borders, a sound monetary system, and a defensive function.

Presently, the United States is failing (or trending toward failure) on the first three counts. Failure on two or more will lead to a failure of the fourth (national defense.) Capitalism notwithstanding, could it be that this is what Russia, China, and the emerging Islamic Caliphate want? Or what George Soros wants?

It is for this reason that I support Ron Paul for POTUS. Yes, detractors of Paul's foreign policy may have legitimate gripes -- in particular his seeming failure to understand that radical Islamists cannot be disincentivized in the same way that Soviet Communists could.

Here is a short, 2002 video of Ron Paul making a multitude of predictions in the areas of economics and geopolitics. Watch the entire thing before judging -- Paul's accuracy craves explanation.

http://youtu.be/zGDisyWkIBM ;

Could it be that Ron Paul is right about economics, the Constitution, and geopolitics, and that his detractors are the ones that have it wrong?

Ron Paul is a Libertarian. Libertarians do not believe in borders, nor does Paul believe in a reasonable national defense. He fails on two of the issues all by his little bitty self.

He wasn’t the only one making those predictions but he was one of the few with a public forum from which to state them.

He’s still a crazy loon who should have been packed off to long-term treatment years ago.

Here's just a few reasons why I think LRon is batsh*t crazy regardless of any past predictions he's made ....

LRon Paul Wants Kucinich in his Cabinet

Nader, who has recently called this progressive-liberaltarian coalition "the most exciting new political dynamic" in the US today …….. "I believe in coalitions," Rep. Paul echoed.

Paul will give his seal of approval to four candidates: Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney, Libertarian Party nominee Bob Barr, independent candidate Ralph Nader and Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin.

Ron Paul booed during Tea Party debate after Osama bin Laden answer

This guy is NO conservative.

He's also a liar. In 1963, when Ron Paul entered into military service, he could not have been drafted.

Local draft board where taking only men between 18 1/2 to 25 years old. Ron Paul was 27.

They also did not draft married men. And Ron Paul was married.

They also did not draft men to be officers and flight surgeons.

In fact, only about 200,000 men were drafted between 1962 to 1963.

Finally at that time, men were drafted into the Army, they were never drafted into the Air Force.

In fact even through out the Vietnam War, the Air Force never had a manpower shortage and never used the draft to fill up its ranks.

Wrong - Ron Paul is a neo-lib and is neither a Conservative or a Libertarian.

Yes, he’s still crazy. Anyone who makes the assertion we can comfortably live with the idea of a nuclear-armed Iran is a nutjob.

“Could it be that Ron Paul is right about..... the Constitution,...”

NO! I’m sick of that crappola about that nut. Ron Paul trashes the heart of the United States Constitution.

The main objective of the Constitution is to “provide for the common defense”. Gutting the military, ignoring the nuke aims of terrorist nations, praising traitors, closing all US foreign bases and isolationist hiding destroys the US national defense.

The second main objective is to “promote the general welfare”. If that crackpot believes that releasing dope into the streets, destroying tens of millions of additional lives, families, neighborhoods and harming US productivity “promotes the general welfare” he is NUTS!
