To my knowledge, only Obama's staff and perhaps a reporter or two has even SEEN Obama's paper copy. The Computer file has accomplished what Obama wanted politically, and that was to make most of the questions about his birth certificate go away. The only people left looking at it are us persistent types. :)

I think if Obama needed a document for court, he could get a paper copy of exactly what he has shown from the DOH in Hawaii. I believe THEY created it in accordance with normal state policies and procedures governing replacement birth certificates, and it is LEGAL, but not an original. The Original is sealed in a vault somewhere, and I suspect it to be based on an "at home birth " affidavit signed by his Grandmother Madelyn Dunham.
