WI: Same Day Voter Registration Study Reveals High Error Rates
Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty ^ | 1/11/12

Jan 11 – (Franklin) – After an extensive review of Same Day Voter Registrations from Milwaukee County for the April 5th, 2011 election, the Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty study found that one third of the 11,107 Same Day Voter Registrations contained errors.

The errors ranged from not checking the block to indicate the voter was a "New Voter" or something more egregious like failing to certify that the person was a "qualified elector" or with forms missing signatures and "proof of residency" information. On some forms, there was no indication that poll workers verified anything about the person registering to vote.

In addition to those errors, the study revealed almost anything can be used to prove Wisconsin Residency. A voter was allowed to use an Illinois traffic ticket to prove Wisconsin Residency. Several voters with no other apparent proof of residency were allowed to register using "out of state" credentials. Even the act of corroborating was not without errors and over 100 voters who needed a corroborator also corroborated for another voter.

According to Larry Gamble, the group’s Communications Director, "we discovered 3,739 forms with errors. That 33.7% error rate is high enough to question the entire election process and raises doubts about having the accuracy and accountability required to properly manage elections."

The non-partisan, constitutional group Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty will hold a Press Conference at 10am in front of the Milwaukee County Elections Commission offices.

Verify the Recall

Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty are concerned about protecting the integrity of the recall elections! We are working on a project to verify the validity of every signature on the recall petitions. We have partnered with We The People Of The Republic from Dane County on this project. Many other Tea Party and conservative groups from around the state will be joining us in this important effort.

The project is a non-partisan effort that is independent of the political parties and the campaigns. Our intent is solely to verify the signatories to the petitions to ensure that only legitimate Wisconsin electors are counted as signers of the petitions. We neither endorse nor support any particular candidate or party in this project.

If you are interested in helping, please go to VerifyTheRecall and sign up as a volunteer and you will be contacted with the necessary information very soon. We will be conducting some training between now and when the petitions are received for verification next year.

Thank you everyone for volunteering especially all of the Tea Party groups from around the country for recruiting their members to help!!!!

Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty and We The People Of The Republic are pleased to announce the assistance of True the Vote!

I challenge anyone to fill out (or supervise filling out) 100 voter registration forms with agitated people standing in line in a noisy gymnasium without making a mistake. The pint is small. The questions are crowded. Answers often are just filling in a dot, etc., etc. Training is not so hot, either. Add to that the plethora of rules and regulations that govern what can be used for ID and what can be used for proof of residence.

I’ve had people hand over their bank statements as proof and I have to record their account numbers on the form to identify them. Can’t look at their pictures (until this year), can’t use their SS number, but I can record their BANK Account numbers!

Furthermore, the penalties for challenging a voter, or someone attempting to register, are so great that the clerks are bending over backwards to make sure that everyone votes, no matter how shabby their credentials are.

I am risking jail, a fine, and my right to vote if I improperly challenge someone.

I’ve never done any poll watching but I have heard some horror stories from those that have. One woman told me of major intimidation going on in Milwaukee for the Darling recall election.

She’s a woman in her 60’s and when she bravely questioned some of the actions of the groups bringing in voters, she was intimidated by the thugs, and when she called whomever she was supposed to call, nothing happened. They were hauling people into a room next door to the voting location, instruction them how to register and telling them who to vote for.

Milwaukee is so corrupt that it’s scary.

I’ve been a poll watcher (not very exciting in Ozaukee County) and I’ve been a paid election clerk. I have to say that both are tough jobs.

As a poll watcher you really can’t see anything. The clerks are supposed to speak loud enough for you to hear the names being called out so you can check them off your list, but you miss most of them. Also, the clerks and chief inspectors are uneven in the way they treat the poll watchers at the various polling stations. Some welcome you and others are suspicious of your intentions. I imagine Milwaukee and Dane Counties are really tough duty. The paid workers really hate the poll watcher scrutiny, not because they are doing anything wrong but because they are unsure of the procedures, and they resent the interruption.

When you are a paid clerk, the days are long and the instructions fill a 3 inch binder. The instructions are contradictory, and nobody really has them fully memorized. Final say is by the Chief Inspector and the City Clerk, even if they have it wrong. They can be over-ruled by the County Clerk, and our City Clerk will not back you up even if she told you to do it a different way previously.

The best way to analyze this situation is figure how many democRAT voters registered on election day vs Republican voters. Would a ratio of 99% RAT vs 1% Republican be a close guess?

I think you’d be within 1%...

Fraud rates is more to the truth of it. The democrats have stooped to lower moral values than any man should ever stoop to. They are liars, thieves and murderers for all the things they do to destroy America.
