Even so, at first glance I’m inclined to agree with this move.

It’s unlikely that the general public would realize any real benefit from such a move for at leat 6-9 months...so I don’t think it would save 0bama’s butt in time for the general election. But if Republicans oppose, they would be painted as being for big government.

Of course, the devil is always in the details. Also, if I were Congress, I’d make this move contingent to passing the FIRST BUDGET in nearly 1000 days. Put it right back in their lap.

Anything this president and Congress does needs significantly more scrutiny.

We do not need any more 'pass it so we can find out what is in it' bills. Congress, with the like of McCain, McConnell, Reid, Pelosi, etc., have a history of burying provisions deep inside these kinds of bills.

Reagan said 'trust, but verify.'

I don't trust any of them!!
