Should Congress give President Obama more power?

This is basically asking:

If I'm going to commit suicide by putting a gun to my head, should I use a Springfield 1911 or a Colt .45?

No, but they will.

Including the House while it is under Boehner.

The NO vote is running at 78.72%

Let's examine this.

If half the voters pay no income taxes, a good percentge of them are finally realizing that a) there is no money fairy, and b) The road to serfdom ain't looking so good...

It’s Ron Paul’s fault. This is the kind of thing that happens when someone takes the “anything it takes” approach and leads it the cheap way. It’s because of a blind and stubborn interest on “I am all in favor of shrinking government” without even looking at reality.

78.86% (34,812 votes) No. Congress should have the power to remake government, not the president.

12.5% (5,516 votes) Not sure. Shrinking government sounds great, I just don't know about giving more power to the presidency.

8.64% (3,816 votes) Yes. I am all in favor of shrinking government any way we can.

This is all 2012 Election Kabuki Theatre. What Congress (the House of Representatives) should do is to remove some of the reponsibility on Imam Obama in reducing costs. They should do this by drastically cutting his effing budget to the point where he will have to decimate his murderous expansion of government to the point of actually friggin reducing its scope! He has no right to decide. Cut his money and all will be taken care of.

If this dipshit actually knew what kind of screwdriver to have used to mount the brackets, I’d be kind of impressed, I guess....

Think lemonade. If it is too sour, add some sugar.

The bill to modify the commerce Dept should have provisions to end the Department of Energy and the Department of Education.

There might be others to reduce, but those two would be a good star.

I’m sure hat’s what Obama actually wants ...... something to fight over

President Zer0 is trying to pull a "Hugo"...trying for total power IMO. The next step, if he succeeds this time, would be to try to get Congress to "extend" his term without an election.

...what the hell, if Zer0 has succeeded at avoiding the Constitution so far, what would keep him from the next step and just flat out ignore it and operate like it never existed?

HEY CONGRESS:

YOU PEOPLE ARE ON THE VERGE OF BECOMING IRRELEVANT...

DE-FUND THE EXECITOVE BRANCH BEGINNING TODAY!!

Why do we need to give Obama more power? Just draft legislation implementing the consolidation he’s asking for.

As if our opinion mattered.

He’s going to take more power.

And there is nothing you can do about it. :P

Now go pay your taxes - your government is broke. :)
