VENTURA (CBS) — A Ventura County Girl Scout is at the center of a national controversy after she released a video calling for a boycott of the group’s popular cookies over what she calls a “radical homosexual agenda”.
The girl — who has only been identified as 14-year-old “Taylor” — cited the recent decision by Girl Scout officials to allow a 7-year-old “transgender” boy to join a Colorado-based troop last fall.

Normally a big buyer, I’ve actually said No to the several girlscouts that have knocked on our front door...most were neighbor’s kids. I felt bad about it, but I dislike even more what the GSA has become.
My oldest kid, 23 years old, asked me why, and I sent her links describing the depravity...most found right here at FR.
So you approve of deviant,unnatural sexual behavior being forced on our children?
They will eventually be allowed full access to all kids—to use them, to harrass them, and to exploit them at every opportunity.

Tut, tut, the Girl Scouts are merely celebrating mental illness like we are all supposed to do now in our PC culture.
Stnd and fight? Fight for a loose organization that doesn’t believe in principles that you do when there are several orgs. That do? Why continue to pay dues and give of you time and effort to an entity that obviously doen’t align with you values.
There are times when you should fight the good fight. But other times there are better ways to achieve your ends.
A boycott will mainly hurt the area councils and local troops and their programs more than it will ever touch the national office in the short term. But maybe if the grassroots inside and outside the organization assert themselves through a boycott, the various councils will eventually pressure the national organization to change direction. I like the fact an actual girl in Girl Scouts is leading the way in this boycott. Let the chips (or rather, cookies) fall where they may. Conservative American girls and their families can reclaim the ownership of Girl Scouting if they just take a stand and don’t back down.
Do you think the parents in front of the grocery stores will be happy when I tell them and their girs of the reasons I’m not buying anymore? If they are not part of the solution, then they are part of the problem.
yes, but don’t just dis the Girl Scouts, offer an alternative. Maybe the American Heritage Girls (see post 15) is a good choice.
