If the people of SC let a liberal pro-abortion, pro-homo marriage, anti-2nd amendent enpty suit win SC, they will be thelaughing stock of the South. Conservative southerners do give liberal New England politicians the time of day. If this election is not rigged Mr. Willard will finish in 4th place, exactly like 2008, when he DID RUN AS A CONSERVATIVE, and people seen right through this fake and fraud walking corporation, mascarading a human.

I am glad the assembled pastors endorsed a conservative.

However, because of the betrayal of establishment rinos the past decade+, the religious leaders’ voices are not what they used to be.

Then you’ve got senile old men like Pat Robertson endorsing Mitt Romney.

I do believe, however, that churches can be an awesome communication tool for a whisper campaign, if they could truly unite behind a single candidate.

As a pastor, I heard absolutely zero comments on this during either of our worship services today. Zero.

Whatever else they do, media religious leaders no longer seem to be reaching the people.

I think Romney and Paul have made a deal. RP will not run as a 3rd party candidate, He will spend money on his own and his PACS will spend money to attack candidates threatning Romney with negative ads and Rand Paul will be the VEEP. The Rand Paul pick would make sense meeting several critera, KY is probably South enough and Rand is perceived as being conservative and has Tea Party Support.

Of course I now find all 3 of them despicable, I understand Rand supporting his father but not using his position as a US Senator and lying about a breaking news item to get on the Hannity radio show to read an attack letter he had written about Newt to an Iowa newspaper, Hannity called him on it and countered with some very positive statements about Newt, my father was an honorable man and would have been very disappointed in me had I done something like that. Of course my father was not a politican.

My prediction, if Romney gets the nomination, Rand Paul veep. Then maybe we’ll realize just how slimey some of these players are and this process has been.

Any Republican candidate who wants to “fight the interests of Wall Street and Big Business” needs to kiss my capitalist ass!

That is very damning information regarding why they chose Santorum. Sickening to think they would sellout.

I heard J.C.Watts talk about this on Fox this a.m., he said not all of them agreed on Santorum, that the story of 150 was false information.

The Romney guy that spoke, that is downright frightening to make such threats. "You'll either work with us now, or work with us later". That is a threat and sounds like mafia, mormon org., or whatever with the money and organization talk. Whoever they are, they are big time and ready to steal this election any way they can.

But of course, Romney is innocent of all charges, even handing out money for votes as was reported yesterday.

Santorum in Gaffney, South Carolina, on Friday:

"You need a leader who's going to go out on the Republican side and fight the interests of Wall Street and big business."

Good grief! What happened to this race? At one point, we seemed to have some of the strongest political resumes in the nation competing: Four successful Republican governors, an incredibly brilliant former Speaker of the House, and a charismatic businessman.

Now we have Republicans from Planet Bizarro, all debating who is more anti-business.

Even the businessmen (with the exception of the self-immolating Cain), position themselves to the left. Huntsman decides to run to the left of the establishment (how did that strategy work out?). Romney has his plan to raise capital gains taxes on the rich.

It is little wonder the flake Ron Paul has maintained a consistent 20%. His sane supporters are not being drawn towards a more mainstream candidate, because increasingly, they are flakes too.
