I’d don’t think Reid would have defeated a guy like Laxalt. Angle was a ditz, certainly a poor debater, or that was my impression the few times I saw her. My point is however that the GOP needs to do better recruitment.

The GOP House MUST start the year by doing what they should have done months ago: REMOVE JOHN BOEHNER.The Crybaby has to be a Democrat plant. No one could work as hard as he does to promote the Obama agenda who is not a Rat.

The Conservatives (me included) have been so wrapped up in the primary season and this Romnyphobia, that we have been letting down the conservative Congress people. They have been doing a good job and not being recognized by us or anyone else. We have let this 8% Congressional approval rate apply to our people by just accepting it for the overall Congress and gloating. But the conservatives in Congress are being painted with the same brush. We must get behind them. The Senate files away and hides their work, but we are not broadcasting their good work. Shame!!!

No shocker. When they cram a socialist light candidate (Romney) down your throat...you tend to give up on that party.
Clearly the party of stupid needs another 4 more years of Zero. Pushing the candidate whose socialistic healthcare plan served as the baseline for Obamacare tells me the GOP doesn’t get it yet. Maybe 4 more years will help to run out the idiots in charge.

A Romney candidacy will depress the base and place the House in jeopardy.
That's it in a nutshell. Romney as the nominee will lead to disaster for conservatives---Unless a strong, 3rd party conservative emerges....

I would argue that if the Stupid Party establishment can't get Romney, they'll be happy with another 4 years of Obama. Anything but an actual conservative. That's what's going on here.

“..GOP needs to do better recruitment.”
I do agree with the statement, however as I said in another post, we are not supporting the good crop of freshmen conservatives we have. We put them in office and forget them. They need a booster club and FR ought to be it!

The “conservatives” in the House? What, you mean the ones like Allen West who talk tough but let Crybaby Boehner push them around? It’s nice of you to try to bring some positivity into this thread, but I just don’t buy it.
The GOP establishment in the House is doing what it does best: killing America at a slightly slower rate and calling it “progress.”
Fun fact: most conservatives recognize the fallacy of “spending cuts” that just decrease the rate of increase, but they’ll turn around and vote for a socialist who will do the very same.

[This is what we get for thinking we could cross the republicans, they’re going to nuke some of our great conservative congress people too. ]
I believe you are right. I have resisted the calls for a third party in the past, but I am right on the edge now. I don’t think the GOP realizes what it has done this time pushing Romney down our throats.

If they run Romney they will likely lose the House again. Not like the House is worth a damn under Boehner anyway.

Great well written and thought out post and I could not agree more. However finding the spokesman for delivering that message is a real pain in the butt. I know who could have done it but she chose not to run and I can live with that decision as long Hope And Change 2.0 rule the next cycle.

They do not mind being the minority socialist party negotiating with the other socialist party. Conservatives just make things hard.

Poll: Republicans in Congress at risk Like I've been saying for a long time: a) there is little difference between the two parties in terms of freedom vs. statism, and b) there is no political solution to the problems America has.
