DEARBORN, Mich. (WJBK) - A woman is in the hospital after witnesses say she was assaulted at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant in Dearborn over the weekend.
Family members tell FOX 2 the woman was celebrating her grandson's seventh birthday Sunday afternoon when she asked patrons at a nearby table to clean up their language. "She said, 'please don't use that language with children,'" said the victim's daughter told. "They told her to 'shut the f--- up and turn around.'"

1 percent is reality. America does have a royalty class similar to Europe. I know it is hard to give up idealistic myths that the US is somehow different from the rest of the human race. If you were drunk and high on drugs and crashed into the Capital Building barriers 3:00 AM in the morning what do you think the Capital Police will do to you. Try dragged out of the car at gunpoint, boot on face and arms pulled till it hurts and handcuffs tightly put on. Move and they will kill you. Now if you are a Congressman, the police supervisor tells his men to stand down and you get a ride home.
Try running a business and state auditors find that you may have taken money out of customer accounts. You will have an instant appointment at the regulators office. If your answers are unsatisfactory, a SWAT will hit your home and business office. Computers, files and etc will be taken and a criminal referral is sent to the DA. Now if you are Corzine, nothing happens even weeks after regulators find 1.2 billion missing from customer accounts!!!!!!
Try running for office as a popular third party candidate. Every petition must be properly formatted, every deadline, every election reg must be met or else. In NJ a Dem candidate suddenly is unpopular and may lose to a GOP opposition, Problem is the Dems passed the deadline to change name on ballot with a more popular person. Judge decides in order to provide real choices for voters in the fall, he allows the name change despite rules say otherwise.

In a case where there is severe disparity of force, for example muscular young man against elderly woman, where the man has the ability to beat the victim to death, deadly force can (in theory) be used. Same deal applies where it's many against one. Your mileage may vary.
This thread is racist. We have no right to complain about black-on-white violence. Even discussing the concept threatens to turn the clock back to the dark days of yore.

Of course he used the N word a hundred times and of course we can’t.
But, then he went on talking about how the brother’s blame all their troubles on THE MEDIA! At that point he said “when I go out at night and walk up to an ATM...............I’m not looking over my shoulder for no media !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m looking for _________ (substitute into blank a heavily emphasized in his CD N word plural form).
So far laughing at the N word hasn’t been outlawed. So, I can say that it is the funniest CD ever made.

You have no reason to call this family liberal. It makes no difference even if they are because they have a right visit any restaurant in OUR country without having to endure a racist beatdown.
My kids would be there for 2-3 hours and they'd never have enough tokens to play all the cheesy games. At the end of the night, they'd have about 300 tickets a piece that they would cash in at the gift stand for some chintzy toy that invariably broke in the car before you even got home.
I'd always have a splitting headache coming out of that place. Either from the noise level or the really nasty watered down beer that they'd serve to the parents there just to keep them sane (usually Miller Lite was all they had).
One of my happiest days as a parent was when the kids finally stopped asking to be taken there. (Around the 6th grade, it evidently starts to be uncool to be seen going there.)
I know this neighborhood well. I grew up there and go back frequently. This is a virtually all white middle class section of Dearborn’s west end. This Chuckie Cheese is frequented by all races and classes. If the story didn’t mention anyone’s race, then for all I know it could have been a hillbilly dust up.
And I thought I was the only one who had that problem after visiting Chuck E. Cheese. Needless to say, I don't ever go there anymore -- despite the pleadings of the kids.
Other places to avoid or to be particularly on alert when visiting:
(1) MacDonalds
(2) Burger King
(3) IHOP
(4) Olive Garden
(5) malls
