Newt owns Juan Williams For Race-baiting Question (4:31 min Video)

Juan Williams tried to pin Newt down over his “poor kids should be janitors” answer from some time ago, and tried to make it about race. Newt took the opportunity to own Williams over asking the question, and got a partial standing ovation for it in the end.

Oh that was classic Newt!.... Love the man for being direct and not caring if the elites like it or not...Newt’s telling it as it needs to be heard, not framed to make people “feel” comfortable........the last things Americans need to “feel” today is comfortable....but too many are still reclining on the Titanics deck chairs...they will not move until the water is touching their feet!

Romney intentionally goes for other people’s applause lines and wraps himself in them with nearly the same words pretending that somehow he is the source of the thought

That's an astute observation!

Romney may be a good manager, but that does not make him a good leader. A good leader gets in front of an issue. He correctly defines the problem, forms the solution for all to see and follow, then rallies his troops and others whom he convinces to strive to a successful conclusion. He takes the hill in victory and with a minimum of losses to his side.

Romney's technique is to pick up on an issue in midstream, hijack it from somebody else with a lot of fancy talk, claim the mantle as his own, then ride it to a fuzzy conclusion which he thinks makes him look good - all the while stoking his ego. He is trying to be all things to all people. He is a "pleaser", not a good leader. His objective is a piece of the hill and the adoration of the crowd.

That's a typical rudderless politician with a shallow keel. That does not make him a leader who will advance a correct and clear agenda against a tough and determined foe. He will compromise or fold if he thinks it will make him look better or perhaps advance an agenda a little bit. That's the typical beltway GOP way. That is why they are such losers and are being constantly outwitted and outfought.

I don’t know why FOX hired him. I just loved it when Newt basically showed what he was up to. FOX could have done much better.
