San Francisco County Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi is vowing to remain in office and fight charges of misdemeanor domestic violence, child endangerment and dissuading a witness related to a fight with his wife. His wife, stood by her husband... "This is completely wrong."
Dist. Atty. George Gascon said police are investigating the possibility that Mirkarimi may have been involved
An emergency protective order that bars Mirkarimi from his home and prohibit any contact between him and his wife, their toddler son, (and) require Mirkarimi to give up all his firearms within 24 hours. Gascon said that he is "not aware of any" other sheriff in California who cannot carry a gun.
"We must allow the system and its investigation to proceed accordingly," said Mirkarimi.

Wife is not complaining so what is it about?
“As I’ve said before, I don’t have any complaint against my husband,” Lopez said. “We are together and we are fine. We are going to fight this. This is my family, my husband and my son. This is completely wrong.”
They want stupid laws, they get stupid laws
They called for the nannification. Now they get it and aren’t all that pleased.
They are the Statist government.
These laws exist almost everywhere. The wife really has no say. Im just surprised the responding cops didnt cover it up. This says good things about the honesty of the cops there.
This sheriff wouldnt have a problem doing this to other people.
Good, let this jack booted thug live under the same law as everyone else, and yes The State does not need Him or Her to make their case, they got pictures, he is toast, and deservedly so. And I would bet you my last nickel he has given the order numerous times to arrest a spouse because the other spouse has a “mark” on their body.
