Former President Jimmy Carter says Newt Gingrich knows exactly what he is doing when he uses phrases like "food stamp president" and talks about the poor learning a work ethic. Carter says this rhetoric is "appealing to the wrong element in South Carolina."

Newt has been very clear he wants everybody to be productive and have a better life.
The words racism and racist are overused and abused in this society. I do not know anyone who believes they are a superior race because they are white, which is the definition. However, I know many people, myself included, who are disgusted with the power the black populAtion wields by using these words. We are equally disgusted with the power these words bring to the liberals who continually use them to control the thinking of blacks. Carter’s statement does nothing but perpetuate the division between the races.

Jimmy is an asshole. I live in a county that has 1% black people, 3% Mexican, 94% white and 2% other. When I hear Newt say these things, I’m thinking “a bunch of white-trash losers”.....go swing a hammer building a house some leech will eventually lose because he won’t pay, asshole.
I think the most disadvantaged and abused people in this country are the poor SS crew that has to guard this asshole.

I cannot understand why liberals continue to always treat our Afro-American population as though they were little tots needing their diapers changed. It is really an insulting position to take. Unfortunately many of the members of this group do not take the time to really understand what is happening. Instead the heed the hypnotic mantras of their slave masters, [the Democrats], and thus reaffirm the Dem’s low-down sense of their self-worth.
I hope Newt and the other GOP candidates begin to make this lousy attitude on the part of the liberal media known to the general public. Newt’s answer to Juan Williams about getting people to learn the job, do the job, and eventually own the job was a masterpiece.
