Mitt Romney has spent more than 20 years in private enterprise, making thousands of business decisions affecting hundreds of companies that led to more than 100,000 new jobs and billions of dollars for employees and investors. So you can see why the left despises him.
Among Romney's thousands of business decisions, the one I gather his opponents consider his absolute worst was the decision to close a paper plant in Marion, Ind. Which wasn't his decision at all.
It was labor trouble at the Marion plant of a Bain-acquired company, Ampad, that formed the basis of Teddy Kennedy's desperate 11th-hour attack on Romney in their 1994 Senate competition. Plant worker Randy Johnson was featured in Kennedy campaign commercials against Romney and disgruntled workers were lavished with Dickensian lachrymosity in The Boston Globe.
In the current presidential campaign, Democrats -- and some Republicans -- have returned to Ampad and the Marion plant as their case in chief against Romney.
The "King of Bain" movie that a pro-Newt Gingrich super-pac just bought with money donated by a gambling magnate cites only one company closed by Bain when Romney was even there.
Guess which one? That's right: Ampad.
The Democratic National Committee has retained Johnson to go on tour in order to more fulsomely describe the horrors perpetrated by Bain Capital on workers at that plant. As salt-of-the-earth Johnson explains, he lost his job at Ampad because Romney "didn't care about the worker."
It is beyond journalistic malpractice for media outlets showcasing the bitter and lying Johnson to neglect to mention that he was the union president who led the strike that forced Ampad to close the plant.
And yet The New York Times, MSNBC and others who have publicized Johnson's sob story regularly refuse to convey that crucial fact. This would be as if a judge excluded the fact that the defense's principal witness is the defendant's mother. Read More »

You do know what a ream of paper is, don’t you? I don’t understand why you felt compelled to comment on it, and inexplicably so, in the title box.

Willard has had a constant 25 to 30 support in polls. When you people piss off all those people, and you some how get noot the nomination, I figure you will lose to obummer by at least 20 percent. Because all those people you have been hating and calling names will stay home.

“I don’t know how Mitt Romney is supposed to explain free market capitalism to career politicians”
Can’t even explain it to Freepers these days.
To: Brilliant
After that, Willard the Lib can explain to us his $50 abortions, the public option, non-free market mandates, big government exchanges, and massive federal subsidies for his and Teddy Kennedy’s MassCare aka RomneyCare.

Wrong, but you will be begging for their votes, and just like McCain it will never happen. But then I do not think, that will be the out come. I still think Santorum has a better than 50/50 chance. We have 300 million people in the country, 5.4 million watched the show on fox the other night.

Judge Learned Hand as long as it is not illegal, people can try to lower their taxes as much as possible: "Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes. Over and over again the Courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everyone does it, rich and poor alike and all do right, for nobody owes any public duty to pay more than the law demands." [Source]

It’s the Kennedy wing of the Republican party.

Ex wife spills beans, oh, well you had a good run, for a couple of days. Santorum now has a 60/40 chance of winning.

Ann dating Bill Maher Coulter and Maher have always been friends, but that is not her BFF according to Hannity, not long ago, who liked her choice, but would not give his name--even way back when you Liked her, Ms Coulter and Maher never hid that they were friendly media enemies.
That statement is very old news chatter. So what even if they were?
We could use an unlikely political couple of Mary Matalin and James Carville, Jr. To now think Coulter is not smart enough to think on her own is ridiculous and especially to blame on Maher who she has always known in the business. Mary Matalin and Carville stick to their own political persuasions and are married!
It has no bearing on anything that effects the lives of out of work, hard working employed, and retired Americans making it through a difficult economic>
I mean this becomes part of the ridiculous after a while and almost laughable in regard to Substantial issues surrounding the choice of a presidential candidate.
Division and Confusion is the very strategy what the Obama camp loves to put on "replay" and sit back following the blueprint they see working on the right.. and attempt to win by doing nothing.
It has become most difficult to know what is a Pinocchioism and what is not, when it starts getting personal.
Does this statement pass the Pinocchio test?
I will easily vote for the Republican who runs against Obama, a president who is considered the worst president in history by an overwhelming number of Americans.
I want Obama on the Hot Seat--he is just hiding in the audience at this point.

Bah, the Bain junk is not the strongest case against Romney. You’d have to completely discount a few dozen stronger arguments against Romney before you even get to the silly liberal-ish Bain arguments. Then again, it’s Ann Coulter we’re talking about here, so she’s already done that.
To: Syncro
Hmmm, a standard ream is 500 sheets of paper....so....if printed on both sides....
Ann Coulter says case against Romney is 992 pages long!!

So your genius counter-argument is what? The party should piss off the majority 70-75% of the party by nominating another RINO who can’t muster even half the support of his own party? How is that going to improve Republican turn-out?
