Waiting on Perry to take podium any moment! He will endorse Newt!
Formal endorsement of Newt and a wonderful explanation of the power of forgiveness. Perry just helped Newt with Christian voters big-time! Very gracious and heart-felt endorsement.

Kudos to Perry. Major kudos. The man is putting his country ahead of his ambitions.
Perry: I believe Newt is a conservative visionary who can m our country. Newt is not perfect but who among us is. The fact is there is forgiveness for those who seek God and I believe in redemption...i have no question that Newt has the heart of a conservative reformer, the ability to rally and captivate the conservative movement, the courage to tell those Washington special interests to take a hike if that’s what’s in the best interest of our country
Perry fully earned the opposition he gets from conservatives. From the very beginning many his supporters spewed posts like the one you just made "support my candidate or you want Romney/Obama to win." A fair number were profane enough to be warned on their language or accusation against other freepers of racism and were eventually banned.
Perry is out. He isn't a has been, he's a never was.

Rick Perry is a great American, imo. I would’ve been happy to have either him OR Newt as POTUS.
WE are watching a statesman.
He is doing the right thing, the noble thing, the best thing for AMerica at this very moment.
He will have a future in American politics, and his star has risen more due to what he is doing at this very moment.
He is a great American.
And better yet,he is a good American.

Even the clowns at Morning Joe were showing disapproval of this ABC stunt. Maybe they’re jealous they didn’t think of it first but it didn’t seem that way.

I voted for him three times... in Texas. However, I knew he wouldn’t go over well in the rest of the country. It is a Texas THANG. You gotta be one to understand us Texans. I do think he has a good heart but never thought he was electable as President. I am a HUGE G.W. Bush fan and always will be... but his Texas ways didn’t go well in Washington. It is a cruel place.
We will see who gets what...does newt pick up all?...i doubt it..it will filter all around and some will stay home
as a believer, I too understand forgiveness, but Newts past was giving me pause, but Perry’s words knocked me upside the head and humbled me. He is just a classy man.
I feel very, very sad for Perry supporters today.
He was my second choice, should Newt have petered out. Now I don’t have a 2nd choice. He is a class act.

Everybody else did exactly the same thing for their candidates. YOU cut the crap. Selective blindless is unbecoming. The man is a Patriot. At least have some respect for that.
