Hell NO. I will not vote for any ticket with Romney on it. Ever.

Gingrich/Perry is a more conservative ticket, and more well rounded.

Seriously, lay off promoting Mitt Romney, he does not belong in Republican party politics, and most certainly not on the Presidential ticket.

What a sick ideal, two mandate supporters.

What are we doing out here with our time to stop liberal Romney then put him on the ticket. With the candidates that are in the race, I am standing with Newt to crush Mitt, the flip-flopper liberal/Romneycare=socialized medicine.

Newt/Mitt = Matter/Antimatter. ‘Nuff said.

Newt/Sarah or Marco or Alan or Paul (Ryan) or Rick (either) or any of several others, maybe.

Gingrich/Perry — well, ok ...but Gingrich could really use WEST. West would provide the discipline, the military acumen, the Tea Party balance, Florida influence, non-establishment balance, etc. He’s served a term in Congress now, yet hasn’t been there too long. Is really more like an outsider also at this point.

What is not to like about West? I’d seriously like to see the vetting of him start now, so we could truly get a good feel for who to be in favor of.

West could also stand up quite well to Plugs Biden.

The biggest mistake Reagan made was putting Bush on the ticket.

If a conservative wins, lets keep only conservatives in the adminstration.

I don’t know Barrasso, but I think that’s very likely the type of person Gingrich would pick. Somebody strong in a state.

I run, and originated, the Newt ping list here at FR.

I will simply say this:

If Newt becomes the nominee, and his internal polling, advisers, and personal wisdom determine that the best way to beat Barack Obama is to put Mitt Romney at the bottom of the ticket, I would not object. Mitt is not my first choice, however, by any measure.

Reagan chose Bush to unify the party in 1980, and Team Bush was every bit as ugly toward Ronnie as Team Mitt has been toward Newt. If following Reagan’s example means victory over Obama in November, then I would not mind throwing a bone to the other side of the Party.

After all, we would own the TOP of the ticket for a change, and it is the TOP of the ticket we’d be voting for. That being said, because we we own the TOP of the ticket, I am willing to compromise at the bottom of the ticket if absolutely necessary.

I don’t see it happening, however. Team Mitt made their attacks very personal, and continue to do so. It would be a shocking alliance, to say the least.

If it’s Newt, it’s going to be Chris Christie. A Southern conservative balanced by a Northeastern moderate.

I like West, but he has little experience in Congress, Newt already has that covered.

Perry also has Military experience, and he has executive experience and tons of cred with gun groups.

Perry also has a rock solid record with the values voters.

Anyone who would agree to run with Gingrich is out of his or her mind. Gingrich is trash.
