(Reuters) - Gunmen kidnapped an American working for Marubeni Corp in Nigeria's oil-rich Niger Delta region on Friday, killing his driver and demanding a 50 million naira ($310,300) ransom, a security source said.

"A foreign national was kidnapped this morning in Warri by gunmen who trailed him from Sapele," Charles Muka, spokesman for the Delta Police Command, told Reuters.
"They killed his police escort and forcefully took him away from the car. He was going to the bank when the attack occurred," he said.

That’s why I won’t visit Africa, the Phillipines, Arab/Muzzie states, Columbia, Mexico or any other third-world turd-bowl nation.
Don’t want to be kidnapped, raped, murdered, beheaded or held for ransom? Stay in the USA and visit one of the other “57” states. There’s plenty of stuff to see here.
Personally, I have had the pleasure of visiting 50 states within the past 48 years. Looking forward to visiting the other 7 states, as soon as I can find them on godd@mn map. Can’t even find them on the Google Maps, Mapquest or any other satellite service. Very frustrating.
Just curious, but did Canada or Mexico cede some territory to Obama and Michelle? Are the “Grifter in Chief” and the “First Grifter” hiding this terriory from us for their retirement after the 2012 election?
Thanks for that. You just made my wife laugh in my ear.
Cool! Glad I was able to lighten your day. FYI...My wife got a good chuckle out of it, too, when I was posting it.

Greetings from the “Occupied” Left Coast. (I’d move to the East Coast but my house ain’t worth the paper the mortgage is written on.)
