On a soap opera, his name would be “Blake.” Or “Garrett.”
Right on.
“According to Dr. Krauthammer, Ron Paul is staying in to make sure the Republican big tent still covers Libertarianism. I think hes right.”
Along with conspiracy nut David Duke style kookiness.
Trouble is, Newt is one blow up away from disaster.
Not to mention they will push his three marriages, and infidelity
How much do you charge to haunt a house?
I can neither confirm nor deny that Ron Paul is wearing his tinfoil hat on too tightly.
;)
People who win South Carolina win the nomination.
“I think Mitt ought to quickly switch parties, he could probably beat Obama in the Democratic Primary. Just sayin.”
How about we don’t bring that up. In Florida, Crist left the Republican Party (when he knew he was toast), and tried to win as an independent. Don’t put it past Romney to try a stunt like that.
Is Wolfe about to barf?
“GOOD! Now drop out of the race Romney. “
Yea, at this point he’s only there to help Ron Paul. He needs to drop out...to prove he REALLY supports Republicans.
How do our Tea Bags taste now?
Sincerely,
The Base.
Cheers!
Maybe! :)
He’s taking it better than Brit Hume did though...wow, what a weasel.
What surprises me more is Wrong Paul’s dead last finish.
I hope he is. I hope they think they'll have it in the bag if Newt is elected.
Polls for an election almost a year away don't matter much though. Just a few months ago Bachmann was polling well. Then Cain. And where was Newt then? Newt was nowhere in sight. Going further back, at around this time four years ago not a few here were cheering on Obama, thinking he would be far easier to beat than Hillary. Things can change quickly. And going in as an underdog is not always a bad position to be in, for any upward movement and suddenly you have all the energy, all the momentum, and the other guy is playing defense, just trying to hold on to what he still has left while you're busy chipping away at his lead.
It's true that a lot of people carry a very negative caricature of Newt in their minds and he will have to somehow overcome that. It won't be easy. But going up against a media that in the tank for a candidate won't be easy no matter who we serve up. Personally i'd rather lose with someone who is willing to fight, who'll shake up the status quo, rather than win with someone who'll try to get along and be liked by both the media and the democrats, someone who will merely maintain the status quo in DC while bringing in the likes of Rove to help recruit more moderates into positions of leadership in the Republican party. Not saying you're for Mitt, i doubt you are, but it looks like we're realistically down now to either him or Gingrich.
2010: Gingrich defends Romney, Romneycare... hmm

IMO he made a deal with the RINO Republican Leadership, and expects THEM to cakewalk him to the nomination, and fully support him through the general.
Yeah, I’m her next-door neighbor and bridge partner. Me and Todd race snow machines together and I’m her kids’ Sunday School teacher.
Lol! I just call them like I see them
If it comes down to Romney vs. Paul, Palin will jump in.
She won’t make it on to too many ballots in print. Many deadline dates will probably have passed.
