Actually, I think Steyn is right on the money as a RINO.

Reasonable people can disagree.
I fail to see it, and I have read most (not all) of his articles over the last several years.

I have yet to meet (metaphorically speaking) a politician or commentator with whom I agree 100% of the time.

A lot of people here hated Gingrich, hated his stand on immigration, said he was a progressive and a liberal and a RINO. He sat with Nancy Pelosi, etc. Now, he is the only “true” conservative and Republican in the race.

Newt and the "other" conservative in the race are both about 90% conservative.

People are rallying around the one who seems to best articulate conservatism.

Still Steyn makes agreeable remarks with talker Hugh Hewitt when on his show. Hewitt show has become a cheer leading event almost daily to promote Mitt. (and to promote Hewitt’s book on Romney from the last presidential election cycle)
