We need to act in a manner that sucks power out of the Fed as opposed to vise versa. That's why I'm on board with Ron Paul . . . but must unhappily accede to pragmatism these days.

Ron Paul’s political philosophy is maddeningly incomplete, and that’s the giant spider (let alone a fly) in his anti-Fed ointment. The US can’t ignore the rest of the globe any more. And national sovereignty has to count for something — every other country cares about who comes in through its borders. A suicide of the GOP we do not want. If Newt too seems to smack of amnesty with his Hispanic municipal centers idea, at least he’s trying to think outside the box about how to mitigate the illegale problem.
