Is there a problem with your comprehension of what I wrote? Or are you not able to clearly express what you are trying to say?

Perhaps it is my fault. In the past I have omitted the "/s" from my posts thinking "there really can't be anyone dumb enough to think that this is intended as a valid statement...". But still I get posts like #19. If this is one of those times I do apologize.

Yes, it IS your fault because there ARE dumbasses around here who feel that tobacco taxes ARE OK as long as it promotes their agenda..........

The discussion that I was part of had nothing to do with taxes. That is something you read into it all on your own. Regarding "my fault"... That is twice you have failed to recognize the gist with out the "/s" (that stands for sarcasm, btw); pay better attention. Does it become tiresome searching FR looking for the mention of tobacco so you can pounce on threads to whine about your pet peeve? Please be sure to not tell me.

For the record I am a cigar smoker. And even though I hate cigarettes, and don't care for their smell, and I'm glad I don't have to smell smoke in restaurants, I hate the taxes associated with tobacco, and think that those taxes, along with the draconian laws prohibiting smoking in bars. etc, are wrong.

Here's a suggestion: from now on when you do this, just post "sorry, my mistake", and move on to the next wrong thread. Now run along. I'm sure there must be a smoking thread somewhere on FR that desperately needs an anti-tax advocate. Criminy!
