just said the same on another couple of posts.
The establishment have no clue about the base or the people of this country.
They’re all stuck up in the north east and the beltway and have no clue what we want, what we think etc.

They deliver boring long winded no emotion speeches, no frontal attacks, never calling obama a socialist of which he is as is his agenda.

Newt goes on the attack and the establishment does not want anyone to rock the boat because they think the MSM might call them a name, the poor dears ARF.

They actually think that if they are nice to the left they might be liked off the MSM and to hell with the base

Those are the talking points, but does Mitt actually know how to do this or is it his “staff” that knows how to do it?

We have to remember, Romney is defined as a RINO for a reason, and that reason has everything to do with the fact that he is a liberal.

Liberals defend the liberal biased media...Romney probably paid John King to ask that question first, anyhow.

I think he is like Obama in terms of being completely removed from normal humanity, and it isn’t purely a money thing. There is something missing in the man.

LOL at the title here. Gingrich is right. Anyone who reads/watches, listens to any kind of media knows it is biased toward the left.

the establishment thinks we will all follow like sheep because we don’t like obama but outside the beltway, talk show hosts, the north east and parts of the west coast most of us are fed up of the establishment just as much as this administration.

I will never vote for Romney and I guarantee that and my family will not either so stop sending your flyers tom my house with lies about Newt and stop calling me asking for money and asking me to vote for your RINO

The only explanation I can make for Romney’s utterly irrational behavior is to try appear more “moderate” than ever now that the truth has come out about his record.

Romney clearly is double-packing. One gun is being used to participate in the GOP circular firing squad that is now taking place. And now, he looks to be pointing the other one at his own head.

Another thing too is that with Newt's grasp of history (of the history of presidential campaigns and then some) he knows many tricks that have worked before. And with his knowledge of how new technology is changing history, he is able to employ his grasp of history in the out of the box ways you mention.

And another thing (if that weren't enough), Newt is unflappable and even seems to enjoy this process...unlike Romney, who seems not to be having any fun.

If Romney wins the nomination, he will lick Obama’s toes and kiss his ring during the debates. What a feckin’ pansy this guy is!

The liberal media is a given. They will do whatever they need to re-elect Obama. I think what Romney is doing here is attempting to blunt Gingrich's ability to rally voters by painting him as a one trick pony.

There was once an SNL skit where Jim Carrey says "I'll see you in Hell" and gets wild applause from co-workers. Then he keeps doing it over and over until everyone is rolling their eyes. Newt is more aggressive than Mitt. Mitt appears to be trying to blunt the affect of the line.

I didn’t see Romney make these comments but if he is actually criticizing Gringrich’s approach with the moderators he is a fool.

These liberal moderators’ goal is ask a question such that the audience will assume the question is objective and that the perspective of the question comes from a “politically centered” viewpoint. Nothing could be further from the truth. The questions consistently assume the truth of liberal orthodoxy and have the effect of potentially influencing the uninformed and those not capable of critical thinking.

The only way to effectively combat this clear bias is to aggresively and immediately call attention to the erroneous assumptions built into these so-called “objective” questions.

Keep it up Newt!

Ever met an English "football hooligan"?

I have ... splendid fellow, actually. Near as I could tell, he brawls at football matches because it's fun. He enjoys that.

"...is Romney stupid enough to believe he's going to get points in a GOP primary for coming to the defense of the liberal media?.... Second, doesn't Romney realize that the media are going to try to destroy the GOP candidate in the general election and do everything they can to ensure an Obama victory?

The liberal media is for Romney which is why he's defending them...they and he know if you control the messages you control the masses. And of course since the Democrates and media want Romney to win the primary he will continue to appease them and "sound" like Mr. Righteous. He's appealing to the politically correct who think nothing should change from the staus quo.

I did, many years ago, occasionally patronize an Irish pub on E 85th St in NYC that was popular for Saturday night brawls. They were always great fun.

That said, I always left with the smart crowd before 2 AM. After that, things could get messy.

Newt seems to be hanging with the smart crowd.

I’m starting to wonder if we might be better off with a new face in the Republican field.

Not good idea...there are only 13 states left...it wouldn't be foolish and put us for a sure win for Omama.
