From NBC News:
Failing to show early signs of momentum in the Sunshine State, presidential hopeful Rick Santorum on Wednesday signaled he may be cutting out of Florida before the states Jan. 31 primary.
Speaking to reporters here, the former Pennsylvania senator said was unsure if he would be in Florida the night of the primary, committing only to campaigning in the state over the next two days. On Saturday, hell head home to Virginia for fundraisers and to prepare his tax records which he plans to soon make public.

Frankly, I don’t think Santorum would deliver Penn.
LOL, certain ones around here seem to think so. And anyone who doesn't get behind Newt RIGHT NOW just HAS to be in the bag for Willard!
Gotta like your tagline, BTW.
Judging by tonight’s debate, Rick is not dropping out of anything except maybe the scurrilous backbiting which he denounced publicly from the stage.
Rick Santorum is a very moral man. He’s doing great this evening. he has sewn up quite a few of the constituencies: the old folks (introducing his 93 years young mother, who is a Florida resident.)
The prolife people: he has had them ever since he went down there to try to save Terri Schiavo’s life.
The family people, by his good example.
The Hispanics, by ripping Obama for being on the side of Castro and Chavez.
etc.
Watch Rick jump 10 points this week. Points will be taken away from Newt and Paul.
He did pretty well in the debate. I thought CNN was deliberately teeing up some of those early questions for his benefit since some of them were in areas where I’d heard him speak knowledgeably before like Central America. I would think pounding Caribbean dictators would appeal to Cubans. He’s going to get a thumping on FR today, because I’m sure he pulled some votes from Newt last night. He nailed Romney on Romney care. Even the Newt supporters had to like that. Still, they’ll be out here calling him everything in the book.
I believe Santorum will do well next Tuesday. He was smart to make his pitch not just to the Cubans but to the thousands of Floridians with heritage from Puerto Rico, Central America, and South America.
My Hispanic friends hate to be “bundled” as if they were all Mexicans.
Whoever is running Rick’s campaign deserves the highest kudos for last night.
I agree that it was smart that the comments weren’t targeted at a specific community. I’m just saying the biggest population with the most immediate dislike for dictators in Florida are probably Cuban.
