Or maybe it’s because Newt is a poor candidate and his flaws are becoming more apparent?

There is no such thing as unbiased news coverage.

While I’d pick Newt any day of the week and twice on Sunday over mitt, Newt is a bottom tier choice.

When it comes to character and morality, the Clintons (both of them) are lower than Newt.

Early Reagan and early Newt has some comparisons as far as marriage and affairs.

If the democrats and “moderates” can get moist over the prospects of a Clinton presidency redux as a great ear in US history, then can certainly look at Newt as capable of becoming the kind of determined charismatic leader this nation (and the world) needs!

The eurocrats are not going to like Newt any more than they liked Bush, but they will fare much better with him in charge of the US than anyone else on the horizon.

In the next 4 years we will have a nuclear armed Iran in axis with a belligerent Russia and China, an expansionist militaristic China with a gasping economy, the fall of the existing economic and social order in europe, America at a crossroads and having to live with whatever turn we lurch towards. And the continuing social rot being perpetrated on our children by “progressives” burrowed into every institution. The schools, the govt, the courts, the media.

Who do you trust most to show up on your TV screen at 3AM to announce US response ot news that Iran launched missiles at Israel because it refused UN occupation to enforce “social justice” for Gaza?

Mitt? Barack? or Newt.

In the next 4 years I could give 2 craps whether Newt is on wife 3 or 4. At least he marries his lovers and they are of the opposite sex.

“Or maybe it’s because Newt is a poor candidate and his flaws are becoming more apparent?”

Nonsense.

How about Matt Drudge is biased against Gingrich and clearly uses any and all opportunities to trash him?

I go to Drudge for the latest news and headlines, NOT to see him earn his Romney kneepads. In fact, I’ve stopped going there, since his bias is to blatant and disgusting.

Looks like we need to defeat the Republican Establishment as well as these self-serving pukes who have set themselves up as “our” spokesmen (or spokeswoman, in the case of Coulter).

—While I’d pick Newt any day of the week and twice on Sunday over mitt, Newt is a bottom tier choice.—

That sums it up for me as well.

If I thought that who becomes the president in 2013 really mattered I’d be very, very distraught over this election.

Fortunately, I’ve gotten past the pain of realizing where we are as a nation, and a planet, and have already started (three years ago) doing what I can to reduce the risk of bad outcomes for me and mine, which is all a man can really do. It is also what a man is responsible to do.

The Sirenity prayer applies to this year’s election cycle more than any other in my lifetime (I’m 58)

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

There is no such thing as unbiased news coverage.

Forgot your sarcasm tag? That is a blatantly false statement.
The media outlet or an aggregator picks the stories they will run and the stories they refuse to cover.
Many times the stories the media does publish are slanted.
Even when the stories are accurate, the headlines sometimes misrepresent the facts.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks Newt isn’t a good candidate.
