Mitt vs. Mitt - Why I will never vote for Mitt Romney
YouTube.com ^ | DNC

Posted on 01/26/2012 7:07:30 AM PST by reegs

This video perfectly encapsulates why I will never vote for the biggest flip-flopper to ever grace a presidential election, the person who chooses the most politically expedient side of an issue, Mitt Romney. This video by the DNC proves they are aware of Romney's greatest weakness: himself. In 4 minutes it completely destroys any credibility Romney might have on any issue.

If Romney becomes the nominee, this video will be used to demoralize the conservative base, suppressing turnout in November and leading to another 4 years of Obama. We cannot let this happen!

Obama says, “Thanks!”

Don’t try to spin your way out this reality.

If Obama gets re-elected, and you didn’t vote for the man who stood in his way, then EVERYTHING that happens to our country over those next four years will be on your head. Period.

And if we vote for Myth the Liberal, and he proves to be the POS that we all KNOW THAT HE IS, then we are guilty of taking an affirmative step in making HIS liberal BS for this nation happen.

Given his past, why is it that you trust Myth?

great idea, now tell me who you will vote for between Obama and Mitt if that is the choice created by the stupid system?

Given that Myth Romney has a reliable and verifiable track record of destroying the Massachussetts GOP because of his leftward tilt on everything, I'll vote third-party if he is the nominee.

If Myth was the nominee, the GOP is already dead in terms of conservatism.

I will work tirelessly, however, for true conservative GOP candidates in all down-stream races.

I participate in the Tea party not to rid the nation of Obama but to heal the nation of the destructive disease called liberalism. Romney is a liberal. Removing one cancer by introducing a new one does not provide a cure it simply tells the nation that the new cancer is now to blame for the body's deterioration. I will NOT vote for Romney in any election.

Wow, you “will never vote” for the Republican opponent of Barack Obama because you let a DNC-produced ad designed to demoralize people like you actually work?

I watched it. What part of it wasn't true?

AND...I will never vote for Newt because he is arrogant, egotistical, morally corrupt and a big fat liar. Oh, and by the way, if you think he’s a conservative, he has you fooled. Check out his past statements about Ronald Reagan who he currently is trying to embrace.

Some get away with bashing Newt, some don't. Are you feeling lucky today?

Our refusal to vote for Mitt isn't based in DNC attack ads.

Our refusal to vote for Mitt is based on his own record, his own statements, his own issue positions, his total and complete lack of reliability and trustworthiness.

His record is a liberal one.

Funny how you make no mention of his record.

Right now I’m inclined to not vote for either and vote conservative down-ticket. However, once in the voting booth, my complete and utter disdain for Obama might override my just utter disdain for Romney. What’s the old saying, “You get more of what you pay for?” Keep buying that crappy GOP product and keep telling yourself it was worth it.

Many who do not understand why many will not support Mitt over Obama miss the point. Mitt Romney is more dangerous and could easily move the country further to the left than Obama ever could. Mitt Romney is the worse kind of politician one who so deserpertely wants to be president that he will do anything to get there. Once there, he will move to the left and could actually do the bidding of the left much easier than Obama would ever be allowed to. I AND MILLIONS OTHERS WILL NOT VOTE FOR ROMNEY, EVER.

“Don’t try to spin your way out this reality.”

I don’t have to spin because I don’t plan to grab my ankles for another ultra-liberal GOP candidate that is even more liberal than the one before who was even more liberal than the one before that. The spin has to come from those who say things like, “Obama says, ‘Thanks!’” who again accept what the liberals throw at them.

-- ... a refusal to vote for him in the general election, if he is nominated, is the functional equivqlent of supporting Obama. --

Well, the GOP might consider factoring that into their calculus, because I too will not vote for Romney. I might even vote all DEM to spite the Republicans, for shoving Romney down my throat. I hope the federal government collapses - I can get along fine without it.

I will never vote for Romney. If we are going to have a pro-abortion, gun grabbing socialist with no integrity in office, I would rather it be a Democrat.

You have to understand the motivation of the GOP E, they do not care If Romney wins or not. I guarantee they have had back room talks with the dems and agreed to back Romney because Romney is the epitome of the status quo.
The GOP E only care about the power they have now and fear that any real change in DC would lessen or eliminate the power they have.
If Romney gets the nom, he will lose. The left will make this all about class warfare and independents will flock to Obama because he is “fair”.
Hopefully unlike with the McCain fiasco this time the heads in the sand republican voters will finally see what is really going on and realize that its not the people who elects but the GOP E that selects.

I don't disagree with anything you said, I hope you don't think otherwise. I will never vote for Romney for anything. If he's on the ticket for v.p. even, that ticket loses my vote.

Sorry that won’t work on me this time. I held my nose and voted McCain last time because he at least had proven his devotion to this country. Not so with Romney. I will be damned and suffer another 4 of Obama before I reward the GOP for what it has done this election season.

No real conservative will vote for Romney for president, and count me as one of them. That is the real deal for the republican party now. There are so many of us, that if Romney is the nominee, he loses the election. End of story. No McCain de ja vue for us.

It’s funny (and by funny I mean pathetic) how many people on this site are trying to rationalize helping Obama win a second term by sitting the election out. “Well at least we’ll have our principles!” Bull sh*t.

If Obama gets re-elected, and you didn’t vote for the man who stood in his way, then EVERYTHING that happens to our country over those next four years will be on your head. Period.

So if I don't vote for Mitt ("Daddy admires Alinsky") Romney in November, the next four years are on my head too?

Umm... "Bull sh*t." Period.

Yes, the RINOs must not have gotten the message with the trouncing of their liberal McCain and with the success of conservatism in 2010. Sad that they need a refresher course. Conservative are fed up with two liberal parties.

Every four years the Republican elites give us some rino and scream that the demoncrat alternative is worse.

Every four years the Republican elite give us some rino and scream that we must protect the Supreme Court from leftist nominations by voting for the rino.

Every four years the Republican elite give us some rino and tell us that a third party will mean the Demoncrat will win.

Screw the Republican elite. Screw the rinos. It is time to kill the Republican party and start a new a new party. Remember that the Republican party was once a new party and it was not many years after their formation that they saved the union from a Demoncrat led civil war.
