Do people really believe this?

Yea they believe it because they don't dig enough to learn that Joe did do something about it as did others. What you can not make them understand is you can't make the ones who do these investigations fully do their jobs. The campus security or chief of security should have gotten restraining orders. CPS especially since the accused was a foster parent should not have brushed off the first accusations and let him off the first time with an “I'm Sorry”.

No, you don’t tell campus security and then wash your hands of it. You tell the real police and report a crime.

Yes, people who are sheep, swayed by the media and their own closed minded take on a sensationalized story do believe this.

It doesn’t matter how much factual information is posted. Some people fell for the agenda and the sensationalized media story.

Paterno was the scapegoat of the university and the media (and the sheep fell for it) until the backlash. But, the media, BOT, Admin, succeeded in sullying a good man’s name. They just didn’t expect anyone to fight back and were surprised.
