Small back story from here in Tampa: Bondi was accused of influence peddling, if she were to become State Of Florida Attorney General, for potential state postitions as a condition of support from some other influential lawyers.
The accusations were allowed to die on the grapevine. Attorney General Bill McCollum was too busy running attack ads against his opponent in the Governor’s race, Rick Scott, to pay any attention.

Also Pam Bondi’s commitment to conservative American causes is suspect, because there has been a Muslim honor killing, which the Tampa police covered up, the Mayor ignored, and Pam Bondi refused to investigate.

Oh I’m sure they’ll claim the states get to “craft” their own plan, while strongarming them into doing some kind of plan (denying current funding if they don’t). Of course they’ll set the “parameters” for the plan so that nothing much different from Romneycare could qualify.

Bondi is also one of the robocallers in Florida for Romney.

What a disappointment!

Good thing it is a recorded message or the robocallers would get an ear full from me regarding Romney.

Another roocaller for Romney is former Rep. Adam Putnam who voted for the bailouts and received a LOT of heat from his constituents for that vote.

So much heat, that he decided to not run for re-election to the House and instead ran for Agricultural Commissioner where the entire state, oblivious to his record and only remembering him as a "Rising Star in the Republican Party" would vote for him and not just his pissed off constituents.

He won and now his name is on every gas pump in the state, verifying the pumps accuracy, as Agricultural Commissioner.

To which I have printed up Avery labels that read "is an absolute jackass!" which I stick just under his name on the gas pump sticker whenever I fill up.

the two parties have been one since the mid to late 1800s. I read a long article on this and the civil war, and the league of nations and all that good stuff, and it makes complete sense. We are only given the illusion of choice, but ultimately... our choices are made for us.

This is the GOP signalling that they are for some kindler, gentler form of government owned an operated healthcare as a way to pull in independent and dem votes.

The fact that Bondi is sending the message means that the effort to overturn Obamacare thru SCOTUS is merely an exercise to slow down Obamacare until the GOP has Romney in the WH to merely re-design it.

***We are only given the illusion of choice, but ultimately... our choices are made for us.***

Came to that conclusion also. Congress is like a bad marriage - the Dems are abusive and the GOP are passive enablers - just happy to have financial security - but no power.

We are like their kids - hanging on until they bring in new boyfriends and girlfriends - and putting up with food fights, and temper tantrums. We need a Third Party grandparent!!!!!!!!!!!!

Secession has a nice ring to it right about now. Let the sensible Americans who recognize that socialism under any guise is a threat to liberty peaceably form a nation of their own.

Words cannot describe how overwhelmingly disgusted I am with Willard Romney the open socialist, his apparently limitless network of Judases, and the imbeciles who support him.

I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER vote for this cretin under any circumstances. He can rot in Hell.

It's revealing that Bondi said in the interview that "the first thing they will TRY to do" is get rid of Obamacare. That's the first time I've heard Romney's people say they're just going to "try" to get rid of it.

Yoda: Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.

No, I didn’t misunderstand the Constitution. I named exactly which amendment they’ll use to make that statement true.

Excellent post! You nailed the Rombots! They’re sneaky snakes just like their employer. I’m pretty sick of them. We need a sticky at the top of FR explaining how to spot a stealth Romniac.

I’m of the opinion nothing shy of a complete uprising of constitution lovers will fix it. No amount of voting will fix anything, I was convinced of that before Obama got elected.

A sixteen word tweet cannot rationally say anything about the subject of contitutionality of state establishment of a religion or mandated purchase of a health insurance policy from a private entity. Yes, the lawyers think they have iron-grip control over all law and meaning of words, and they can twist both to give them the authority to do whatever they wish. The very idea of what you are worrying that the sixteen word tweet means, is doomed to failure if actually tried.

In Friday Afternoon Round-Up by Sultan Knish, he has a great take down of Ann Coulter and the “beltway establishment” RINOs’ support of Romney and Obamacare, excerpt follows, with link at the end:

...The only thing keeping Romney from raping us at the Federal level (Coulter’s metaphor, not mine) is that he’s apparently solid on State’s Rights. Probably as solid as he is on immigration, the second amendment, abortion, gay rights and well any other issue.

If we do put our faith in Romney as a rapist within the Constitution, then he’ll hand out the state waivers on ObamaCare. But what if he prioritizes rape over constitutionalism just like every other president from both parties going back further than we would like to think about?

...With Romney, his establishment defenders have been reduced to arguing that Romney may support the practice of ObamaCare, but he will oppose it to protect states rights. Not only is this position ridiculous, not only does it ask us to take so much on faith that it’s downright mindboggling. In Coulter’s own metaphor it asks us to elect a rapist and trust that his principles will prevent him from raping us.

Billing a man who called himself progressive and repeatedly disavowed the conservative label until it came in handy, who is conservative is demeanor, but has no consistent conservative record on the issues, as the most conservative candidate is a head spinner.

To seriously believe that Romney is more conservative ...isn’t the worldview of a world where words have meaning, it’s a world where the word conservative has no meaning.

So Pam Bondi sold her credibility. I hope AG Bondi knows this transaction is not refundable.
