How does he do that in all states unless it is a Federal mandate? Makes no sense.

He can not “impose”. Poor choice of words. He can, however, use the vast levers of government to push. Coerce is a better word.

Please post the list of states where you claim Newt does not have delegates. As far as I know, he has not missed any deadlines yet except for Virginia and the non-binding Missouri primary.

Also, can you post how much campaign cash Ron Paul has so we can compare it to the combination of what Newt and Newt’s SuperPAC has to see if Ron Paul still has more? My hunch is since Ron Paul is skipping states like Florida, he does not have more money than Newt.

Newt has a FAR, FAR better chance of getting crossover Reagan Democrat votes than either Romney or Santorum. He’s got the “drinking buddy” populist vibe for the blue collar types and he’s got an intellect that could appeal to the suburban elites (although they’re less likely to cross due to the whole thinking Republicans are evil thing).

Obviously Ron Paul could get crossover votes since he holds the foreign policy views of Dennis Kucinich.

I can already hear Palin’s endorsement for Ron Paul to “send a message” to the establishment. Of course Paul would just run ads non-stop for the rest of the campaign claiming Palin endorsed him and cutting her off in mid-sentence.

.38% is less than a whole.

When Newt wins FLorida, by say 2 votes, WILL MITT demand a recount over and over and over? Will be call him Mitt Gore? Hopefully we will Gore the Mitt, and good.

I hope this is true because Ipsos today had Mitt at 11% over Newt.

No, the survey was conducted between Monday and Wednesday. The first debate was on Monday. I still happen to think Newt did better in the debate on Thursday than he did on Monday, although Mitt probably did as well. The Monday one was filled with Mitt’s “resigned in disgrace” line. And I think both Newt and Mitt suffered some awkward blows on Thursday, but both also had overall better moments than they did on Monday. I think we all felt a comedown from Newt’s stellar performances in South Carolina, especially the FOX News debate, but that didn’t mean he put in bad performances here.

Wow, just noticed Paul’s negatives are HUGE in this poll, far beyond the other 3 candidates. 58% to the next lowest 37% for Newt. Must be his desire to play footsy with Cuba and abandon Israel.

I hope you are right. I like RP, he makes me laugh at times but since this is a very serious situation - I can’t enjoy that much. Remember when he chided the moderator with age discrimination? LOL! And loved Newt’s response how he can vouch for him being healthy and up to the task if he won by the way he campaigns. Slap, slap to the moderator. Heads up on the Federal Reserve and Newt agrees with him! That alone make the rinos and libs shiver!

Notice they put higher standards on Newt on what is a good debate. I think Thursday with Santorum ripping his Romneycare - and 13 points are exactly like obamacare - Mitt did not do good at all. And his response to the space program and if one of his staff came to him...blah, blah, he’d fire him. Mitt is always firing someone - he gets off on authority. Me thinks Trump should enter the race - and fire Mitt. :)

Right you are. My mistake.

About the RP negatives, I thought Newt did a smart thing in complimenting RP whenever he could in the Florida debates. If any of RP's supporters come to their senses before Tuesday, they might be more inclined to throw a vote Newt's way just because Newt was nice to RP. It's a longshot, I know, but if the primary results are as close as it looks like they might be, every vote will count.

Paul can beat Obama, according to the polls. Gingrich cannot. It’s almost a mathematical certainty that Gingrich can’t even get the nomination, and it is a certainty that Santorum cannot. End of discussion.

Thats what I’m thinking. Newt is picking up santorum votes. Rick has gone home to do his taxes which tells you everything you need to know about his campaign. Its out of gas and over.

Full, comprehensive analysis: Road to the Nomination

As for funding, Wikipedia says the following:

Paul's second moneybomb (the first being before his official announcement) was scheduled for June 5, 2011, the anniversary of the 1933 joint resolution which abolished the gold standard.[55] The June 5 moneybomb, which was themed as "The Revolution vs. RomneyCare: Round One", raised approximately $1.1 million.[56] A third moneybomb themed "Ready, Ames, Fire!" was executed on July 19, 2011 to provide support leading up to the Ames Straw Poll on August 13, 2011, raising over $550,000.[57]

In the second quarter of 2011, Ron Paul's campaign ranked second, behind only Mitt Romney, in total dollars raised with $4.5 million.[58] This was $1.5 million more than his original goal of $3 million.[59] During that quarter, the Ron Paul campaign had raised more money from military personnel than all other GOP candidates combined, and even more money than Barack Obama, a trend that has continued from Ron Paul's 2008 presidential campaign.[60]

A fourth moneybomb took place on Paul's 76th birthday on August 20, 2011. It raised more than $1.8 million despite a cyber-attack against the site that took it down for several hours, after which the donation drive was extended for another twelve hours.[61]

A fifth moneybomb began on September 17, the date of the 224th anniversary of the creation of the United States Constitution. Continuing throughout the following day, it raised more than one million dollars.[62] Shortly after the Constitution Day moneybomb, a sixth moneybomb, entitled "End Of Quarter Push", began on September 22 in an attempt to generate $1.5 million before the 3rd Quarter fundraising deadline. [63]

In the third quarter of 2011 Ron Paul raised over $8 million.[8] A three day moneybomb entitled "Black This Out" brought in more than $2.75 million in mid-October.[64][65]

On December 16, a moneybomb titled the "Tea Party MoneyBomb" took place and raised upwards of $4 million over a period of two days.[66]

Paul is also supported by a Super PAC, Endorse Liberty. As of January 16, 2012, the PAC had spent $2.83 million promoting Paul's campaign. [67]

Paul also gets far more volunteer effort than anyone else. It's worth millions per month.

Anyone who votes for Paul, Second’s choice would be Zero.

Paul is only a threat to RINO’s and Zero in that order.

Paul’s supporters are no threat to Conservatives.

In fact, Paul has been lying about being a Republican for decades. He has acknowledged being a stealth Democrat. Paul is a liberal democrat.

Why Republicans allow those who lie about really being a Republican needs to be fixed by future President Gingrich’s choice to head the RNC.

Future President Gingrich needs to work on closed primaries and debates with true conservatives.
