The article refers to a website. The "Bread and Butter" quotation from the rather long article at the Web Page is;

QUOTE Since George W. Romney [Mitt Romney's father] was born in Mexico, son of the head elder (Gaskell Romney), there for about 3 decades before his birth, said elder must have been a Mexican citizen, therefore, could not bestow American citizenship, let alone “natural born” to George W. Romney. Since George W. Romney was therefore NOT A natural born American citizen, he could not bestow natural born to his son Mitt Romney. It does not matter what state Mitt Romney was born in. UNQUOTE

If true, the GOP elite would rationalize Mitt Romney's presidential candidacy to justify Barack Obama's candidacy. These are events that make one want to say, "hmmmm". United States Constitution not withstanding.

Romney has shown himself alarmingly vindictive and ruthless toward other Republicans who oppose him. The GOP Establishment has demonstrated that they are dismissive and disdainful of conservatives. I sometimes wonder if they would prefer another Obama term to allowing a non-Establishment candidate to win the Presidency.

Yuppers .... that’s why the Repubs won’t go after Obama on not being eligible ..... it would bring in to question Romney & they can’t have that.

There’s been some really good articles and links posted this morning!

Drudge has (URLs) links to many many news, editorial and commentary sources. Is boycotting a news source the modern equivalent of offering an invitation to a book-burning ? Just askin'.

“Just askin’”

I just hate to see Drudge getting credit for the “hits” when it’s so easy to put those “sources” into a favorite list—even if it means having to do a little more research a day.

I see. I support legitimate capitalism. In my opinion, many of the excerpts from NEWS, editorials and articles seen here at FreeRepublic seem to be a similar source of news. The opinions posted in these threads makes for very interesting reading (for me at least) as well. As far as I am aware, "credit for hits" is a legitimate means of making money. Your suggestion of "having to do a little more research" would seem to take a significant amount of energy and would also seem to take more time. There are indeed specific issues of interest and research that necessitate using websites other than Drudge. However, as we all know, time is money. Of course, YMMV.

You are absolutely correct. And for those of you who want to see Drudge making money while schilling for Romney—freedom to make that decision in this country is what makes us work.
