DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Symphony Orchestra has launched a webcast player that will allow music lovers to enjoy an upcoming performance of Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 4 and other concerts online for free in the comfort of their homes.

St. Louis Symphony has had “Live from Powell Hall” on the local npr for a few years now. It is a radio broadcast, but still a good one.

Wow, that’d be great if I can get this laptop’s A/V output connected to my non-HD TV. Hopefully, all I need is an S-video cable. I have my old Jensens (pair of LS-6 on the mains + pair of LS-4 on the remotes) set up in the living room through a Sony A/V amp (no S-video). The beast in me could really use a taming.
