A couple of black women at my job hope Romney gets the nomination because they’re furious at Obama and want (what they see as) an alternative. Things have not gotten better for “Black American” over the past 3 years.

There are probably a lot more who simply lack the courage to say it. Being a black conservative is like being an atheist in a bible belt town in 1950. It would take a brave man not to pretend to believe. To tell the truth would mean being ostracized if not physically attacked. Being a conservative of any kind in the Hollywood community is something very few would admit to, unless you are already at the top of the heap it means unemployment.
