Thank youall There are several posts here from engineers who know what they are talking about. The employers tell the government that they can’t find engineers. They want to find recent foreign graduates for low wage on HlB visa
That can’t quit. High tech engineers become very specialized and high paid. Technology advances and there specialty becomes obsolete. So the employerlooks for recent foreign graduate with latest skills and HlB visa

This claim of plenty of engineering jobs out there seems to be off-kilter with anecdotal stories of engineers driving cabs and delivering pizzas.

Rush is a gloBULList and as such I have never heard him utter word of disparagement against the H1-b vis program.

I'd willingly bet that Mrs. Weddel's husband's resume is far more impressive and verifiable than the President's resume.

Why do they single out the engineering profession to undercut with HlB visa? Because employers of engineers are powerful and want cheap engineers.

Maybe 0bama could send the American People a copy of his resume?

He could enclose a genuine birth certificate, passport records, college applications and transcripts, and explanations of how he got his various Social Security numbers?

Almost for sure, he wouldn't be "qualified" for the job he now holds. In fact, he would probably only qualify for a cell in Leavenworth...

I wouldn't take that bet. If her husband delivered pizza successfully during collage, he has a better resume than 0b0z0.

"So they've gotta go back to something that traditionally, in presidential elections, hasn't worked: The class envy thing."

Obama can't win. Rush knows it, Mittens knows it, Newt knows it. From there, everything must follow...

Come on. There have to be some Democrats or maybe members of the MSM whom would enrich us.

A man who has never earned an honest day’s pay in his worthless closet-gay, closet-Moslem life.

To wit:

Mumbai
Hyderabad
Chennai
Bangalore
New Delhi

“Tech Street”

Many major US IT firms have huge operations there.

Look for new construction there, and Tata’s Consulting value. Amazing. And, at what? 10% of US salaries.

obama sounds like he opens his mail every day and read it.. to get a letter to the white house is not easy.. even your congress person will tell u to send a mail to their local offices, as they all have to be scanned in DC to look for anthrax and etc.. imagine trying to get a letter into the white house... this guy is such aphoney... we should all send a resume and see where it leads us.. no where..

The truth is that there probably ARE jobs out there for this person. That pay 1/2 or less as much as he had been making, as a temporary employee, in a job 1000 miles away from the home he is upside down on and can’t sell.

This is all about breaking American wages -- managements want to keep American prices but pay people like they're living in Mexico in cement shacks with dirt floors (thus a 1994 Business Week article on the runaway U.S. auto industry, esp. Ford).

They want to arbitrage a bottomless "world wage" benchmarked to Chinese prison-labor costs, against existing scales in the First World.

Human-slavery outfits like Tata International are helping them get where they want, and now the Chinese are piling on, offering outsourcing services.

The American CEO's who went to Davos in 2007 swore up and down to the international investor-class and banking community, that they were burning with zeal to crush their American cost structures. Alan Blinder came down the mountain and made it his business to go on biz and talk shows (Nightly Business Report, Charlie Rose) to warn American workers this was coming.

I honestly don’t think it is the best use of the p-Resident’s time to be reviewing resumes of 10 MILLION people whom are unemployed because of HIM. Then again, anything this p-Resident does OTHER than his usual daily evil is probably a good thing.

We should all send resumes to the White House! This is straight from a 1970s Cheech and Chong routine.

Add to that, having too many employees of the “wrong” ethnicity looks bad on your EEOC report. Bringing in a lot of Asians moves those numbers in the right direction.
