The head of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is threatening to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress if he fails to comply with congressional subpoenas for documents. Holder has until Feb. 9 to comply. In a four-page letter to Holder, Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., claims the Department of Justice has "misrepresented facts and misled Congress," which began its investigation of Operation Fast and Furious one year ago.

Could someone explain what it means if Holder is held in contempt of Congress? Is there any kind of negative consequence for Holder? Doesn’t seem like the obama administration gives a flying flip regarding breaking the law.....

This is like Congress saying “Nyaa nyaa and I mean it this time.” And nothing more. The only way they can bring true legal wrath down upon clowns like Holder is go for full impeachment and conviction.

Serious consequences will happen. The Republicans will send him a letter using ALL CAPS and put it in his personnel file.

The chances of Issa following through on any threat is about the same as OJ confessing. If they truly were concerned ALL OF THESE PEOPLE WOULD BE IN PRISON ALREADY AWAITING EXECUTION.
After all My President signed an Official Executive Order Declaring a War On Drugs, Our Government has been Preaching the War on Drugs since that Day. Every Last Person involved is GUILTY OF TREASON as far as I am concerned. Now before anybody tries to use the lame excuse that the “War on Drugs” is not a “Real War”. I would like to remind that Neither was Korea, Vietnam, Irag, Gulf War, Libya, Afghanistan.... Those were and are ALL PEACE KEEPING MISSIONS Under the Guise of the United Nations and Not Real Wars either, now go ahead and make your case.
