"See below what I received from FNC Carl Cameron! This is really wild! More possible Florida election problems?"

Tampa, FL — Florida’s primary might not be over just yet.

The Newt Gingrich campaign is gearing up to challenge the results of the florida primary based on the Republican National Committee’s own rules which state that no contest can be winner take all prior to April 1, 2012. (See attached RNC memo.)

The Gingrich campaign plans to challenge Florida’s winner take all status & demand proportional allocation of delegates.

Fox News has learned that Thursday, a Florida Gingrich campaign official will begin the process of trying to have the RNC rules enforced so that the Sunshine State delegates are proportionately allocated.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus warned Florida Republican Party Chairman Lenny Curry of the violation in a December letter quoting the rule, “…’winner-take-all’ states cannot hold a primary or caucus before April 1, 2012.”

The RNC is not going to wait until two weeks before the convention to settle this.

Think about it two totals given each time their is a news report given. First it sets up the RNC as incompetent and secondly it is legally difficult because it would give Newt grounds to sue, showing damage to his campaign you........

Expect the issue to be resolves ASAP with the RNC taking the lead to straighten out the State. They are already not happy with FL...Look at how bad they make the image look...and for the RNC image is everything. Fifty per cent of delegates is a sizable penalty...Now live within the rules

Thank. I try to read “everything” but of course can’t, and there are other things in life besides sitting here reading FR, at least I’m told that is so.

If I was Newt, I would threaten to run third party if I lose and this matter is not fixed. The RNC has no right to acknowledge anything other than the rules. The rules were not changed, so Florida's delegates must be distributed proportionally.

Third party will almost guarantee an Obama re-election. We must turn back the RNC and their minions and make them understand - any way we can - that they merely represent our wishes, they are not our overlords.

I know. That's why it would force the RNC to do the right thing.

You know why this is especially delicious? Back in December, when Priebus sent Florida his letter, Newt was the one with a big lead in the polls. The RNC was trying to screw Newt out of the 50 delegates! They so deserve to have this turned around on them now.

"After all, the “established Reps” are busy touting Marco Rubio for VP despite his apparent disqualifying problem vis-a-vi the pesky “natural born” clause."

Would you believe I actually heard someone on Fox News stating Rubio was not a Natural Born Citizen. It was a panel and the others couldn't believe what they were hearing.

All presidential primaries should award delegates on a proportionate basis. Otherwise, an establishment favorite can overwhelm the early primaries with resources and build a commanding lead, forcing the lesser, non-establishment candidates to drop out early - before the other 40+ states even get to vote - because they run out of money! This is how we ended up with nominees like McCain, Dole and Ford in the past.

Of course, this is how the establishment likes it. But it's wrong and it usually results in a weak, establishment-backed nominee. It's not fair to the majority of the states who never even have a voice in their party's nominee. By the time the primaries come to their states, the nominee is already decided!

If the delegates were apportioned by percentage of vote in each state, we'd have a lot more candidates able to stay in the race right up to the convention. And that's the way it should be.

Many people are under the impression that a brokered convention is a bad thing and indicative of disunity in the party. I do not agree. Have several candidates show up at the convention with substantial amounts of delegates and we'll have a much better shot at a conservative nominee who will best represent the party in November.

Their problem with that, is THERE IS NO WINNER TAKE ALL, period. Florida moving up their Date didn’t change the fact that delegates a not winner take all before April 1. They were penalized for moving up their Date.

Romney could end up getting 100 delegates from Florida.

--------------

I think it’s a preemptive strike to keep the RNC from changing the rules again and awarding Romney ALL of the Florida delegates instead of the half that they were sanctioning them for changing their Primary date.

-------------

Since Mitt won, I felt like the winner take all 50 delegates would have become winner take all 100 delegates before the convention thanks to the RNC corrupt elites.

But as of today it may not be so easy for them to pull that off.
