The thing is— the Establishment is using every tool to kneecap Newt in order to prop up Romno-money. This is one of the few tools of the people, conservatives who are fighting the system, which includes the RNC.

This would be nice. Unfortunately, the prevailing opinion is that they were already penalized half their delegates for violating the rules, so they can’t be penalized further.

And it is unlikely a court is going to intervene in an intra-party squabble, so really Gingrich will have to appeal to the RNC, and they are unlikely to do anything until the convention.

But so long as Gingrich doesn’t waste his own time talking about it, and instead gets back to attacking Obama and voicing a positive message, this can’t hurt.
