Things haven't gotten much better for Newt Gingrich .....

The former House speaker abruptly canceled a meeting with Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval ... Not even Gingrich's campaign advisers know why the campaign scheduler called it off, irking them and those in Sandoval's office who had helped set up the event.

.....

Other signs of disarray appeared Wednesday. Gingrich's schedule called for a 1 p.m. rally in Reno, but volunteers put out word that the event would be at noon — and that supporters should show up at 11:30. .....

I guess you are correct, DMI. I expect you will continue to support MITT so that everything runs smoothly.

this same bunch of which two are well represented here have been anti Newt from the getgo

they harp on the same talking points as FOX NEWS

and they won’t truly commit what they stand for besides nitpicking Newt to death and posting threads negative to Newt over and over

and when Mitt does get the nod due mostly to folks like them who share his lack of social conservatism they will be the first to say we all need to pony up and now and concentrate on Obama and rally round the flag blah blah blah

I have been doing that for less than desirable GOP nominations from 1988 on and I am done.

Not any more.

I will support them in statewide but if they nominate someone as liberal as Romney I will not vote nor support him

We have never won with someone this liberal and he has almost the same baggage as Obama...no Bill Ayers or Wright but his track record is very liberal

There are quite a few of us my friend, including Jim, who will not support Slick Willard. There are plenty of bannings that prove it. That's why the shills are being so careful.

Socialists have infiltrated the media, schools and even churches while America was sleeping. Now we have to fight them. Even on FR.

Indeed. That’s why I only drink pure grain alcohol, or rain water. Communists.

Agenda- Grinding America Down

America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within. - Joseph Stalin

"Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity. … In the new order, Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society." Antonio Gramsci - Marxist - teacher of Saul Alinsky

I assume that poster kept it up somewhere else.

There are people here who will be just fine with Romney..like Coulter or Laura or Chuck.

They are usually more careful about it.

However imperfect Newt is the only chance. Santorum polls at less than half Newt does and has since Iowa and why Rick is still in could be troubling.

PA is a swing state...but dang...he lost it himself just 5 years ago?

this is my most depressing time ever in my adult life politically

a poorly run nation with a near depression economy

95% of all so called conservatism and GOP have been proven to be cowards or outright liars and fakirs...way out of sync with the general population where the voters are at least 55% anti Mitt in the primary electorate

at least after Carter’s debacle we had Magnus to look forward to.

it is a veritable mess ...the establishment GOP and their media, print and radio pals are going to be in for a rude awakening come poll time after the election

and mark my words...they will blame us for rejecting the sorry candidate they forced on us through tricks, lies and not sticking to their so called principles at all

“There are people here who will be just fine with Romney..like Coulter or Laura or Chuck.”

By “Chuck”, do you mean Kraut???

The wimmen...they trouble me. In 2008, Laura promoed Romney more than anyone I can remember. She’s a bit closeted this time, but not enough given her history.

“and mark my words...they will blame us for rejecting the sorry candidate they forced on us through tricks, lies and not sticking to their so called principles at all”

Yes...they will. They absolutely will.

Then, we revolt, and start a party who will listen to us “little” people. You know....those conservatives who vote? Those who held their nose and voted for McCain? Or, in my case, voted for Palin?

You just watch. If Romney is the nominee, he will select the most conservative woman to be his Veep.

In my case, it won’t work this time.
