As low as my opinion is of Romney, I have no doubt that he (or Santorum, or Newt) would carry NC over Obama. If we’re stuck with Romney as the nominee, he will pick a conservative runningmate and ride Obama’s unpopularity (and the much lower black and youth turnout as compared to 2008) to victory in NC. Frankly, I’d be more worried about VA.

Of course, I hope it doesn’t come to that.

Well, there won’t be a “we.” If Willard hijacks the nod, I’m out. McCain was the last straw. I’ve spent years writing and outlining exactly why Willard is remotely unfit for any political office (along with all the other Trojan Democrats) and there is nothing that can be told, sold, coerced or bribed from me that will change my mind. I will not vote for anyone who is offensive and antithetical to my belief system, values and conscience, and I’ll be damned to have the left wing make my “Republican” choice for me. This primary has already gone way past “Twilight Zone” proportions, as if 2008 wasn’t enough of a complete abomination.

When I fight an enemy, I expect to meet them face to face, not get stabbed from behind. The pro-big government party establishment is just as much our enemy as the Democrat party, and our worst nightmare is a national Combine based on the IL model, and it appears that’s exactly what we have. If that is the case, the GOP will have to be destroyed just as the Whig Party was, so that something new that supports true government reform and the vast shrinkage that not only should be done, but will have to be done, in order to save this country.

And just as an aside, whatever “Conservative” whom were to run with Willard to give him political legitimacy will be thoroughly ruined with respect to their political future. It won’t be like Palin again. Besides, Willard only likes puppets, anyhow, ones who can be swiftly used and discarded. Just ask poor Kerry Healey. She didn’t even know what hit her.
