Children with multiple nationalities have to choose when they reach the age of majority [18] as to which country they will be recognized as a citizen of.

if you have a choice of citizenship... then you cannot be natural born.

a natural born citizen is someone that is 'naturally' a citizen, as there are no alternatives.

born on American soil... to two citizen parents... the child can only be American.

QED

(unless you're trying to cloud the issue to help the left, in which case it must be discussed in more detail until everyone listening is in a coma)

the birth certificate is needed as it's the only official documentation of his parent's citizenship at the time of his birth. most likely why they released a forgery... so people would get stuck on that detail (until they get the original, after much foot dragging) and not on the main issue

Which is true. I never made the argument otherwise.

The fact is, the populace at large is ignorant of the matter, but seeing what the pResident himself listed AS his nationality would be the definitive answer to that ignorant populace. You can bet your sweet bippy he DIDN'T choose American.

Actually, you can be born anywhere. Since natural-born citizenship is inherited, your location at birth is immaterial.

Honestly, I'm getting pretty tired of this type of innuendo. If you have an accusation to make, DO IT and quit pussyfooting around.

If you have doubts as to my position, you can check for yourself. I have a long history of posts concerning this subject.

What birth certificate lists a parent's citizenship? The BCs I've seen only list parents' place of birth --and since parents filling out the information to be listed on their child's BC don't have to provide any actual proof of where they were born, they're free to enter whatever they wish into the field asking for their place of birth.
