“Cops who pull this should be summarily executed.”
“Law and Order” Republicans are mysteriously absent from this thread...odd...

The only appropriate sentence for “dirty cops” should be life in prison, or if violence is involved, then the death penalty. Corrupt pols should get the same treatment.
Instead, all the rest of the dirty cops in NYC have been assured that they will not get a jail term for their crimes.
NYC is so foul in so many ways, we should bulldoze the whole place.

This cop displays his arrested development. He probably learned early that when caught revert to tears. Mommy won’t spankums because you are crying. HOw many non-cops can cry and escape jail time? Or, those framed, who have two strikes, can they evade the third strike via tears? This is just more corruption.

If “the system” really worked, it would be “hitting the lottery” time for everyone he ever arrested on evidence, and the property tax in NYC would go up 20%.

many police are bullies who use the badge to bully people. Ones like this need to be banned from being police.

He knew he’d get the snot kicked out of him in prison where inmates get even with cops like him.

It's not important, comrade. They were just little people. They exist to feed the state. Go back to sleep.

For both this criminal with a badge and the judge that played softball with him...
A double standard in law leads no where good. We’ve been on this path for too long already.

It's NYC, so take him out to a nice Italian restaurant first ... maybe one with exceptional veal.

It was a lab tech. When Mr. Dirtbag entered in the evidence, the lab tech inspected the crack rock. It had the lab techs initials on it. Subsequent checking of the long term evidence locker showed a missing sample.
So... Mr. Dirtbag cop not only planted this on someone innocent, he'd originally STOLEN it from an evidence locker.
A liar AND a thief.

Anyone given power by society MUST be held to higher standards of behavior that the rest of us. We have given police officers the power to take our liberty or even our lives in order to protect society. When they break that trust they should suffer much higher punishments for their actions.
This guy should go to jail for a long time. He should be made an example of.

"to reach their quota" ...I'm surprised nobody has commented on this fact. I think it is absurd to have any "quotas" when it comes to law enforcement.

Leniency for loosing his benefits? If I committed such an act, the judge wouldn’t care if I, list my bennies from my employer.
And some here wonder why there is such a hate on for LEOs.
