This is all about the prevailing culture in Hollywood/the film industry.
In the rest of America, when a woman applies for a job and is informed that she will have to sleep with the boss to get the job, we are (rightly) outraged. Lawsuits, firings, etc. ensue.
But in Hollywood, people seem to expect this kind of gross extortion. People in “the industry” still speak jovially about the “casting couch” as if it were some sort of time-honored cultural institution. One imagines that Hollywood expects to be exempt from legal norms in the rest of the world in the same way that Eskimos are allowed to hunt whales.

Actually, since concentrated fire is illegal, they need concentrated ridicule, scorn and public exposure directed at them. Then, if any show a hint of remorse, then bring in some faith to try salvaging their pathetic lives.
I doubt that any of them see the need for any authority higher than themselves or their sexual wants.
One need only watch an episode of Kiddy Porn on Parade (aka Toddlers in Tiaras) to know the answer is that the LAST thing on Stage Moms' minds is the innocence of their children.
Interesting that this topic would come up this morning; only a few hours ago, on an entertainment gossip site, I saw pictures of a leering Miley Cyrus licking the frosting off a very large — and obscene — penis shaped birthday cake.
It ‘is’ their time honored tradition. Same for the music industry. And the so-called “Christian music industry is every bit as bad.
I know personally a girl of awesome ability, who shall we say ‘blossomed spectacularly’ at around 15ish. Her parents quickly removed her from the industry when they refused to ‘meet the expectations’ of those in charge. A potential career was destroyed instantly, but a life was saved.
There is something majorly wrong with them. They are in thrall to Satan. And the answer to your question is NO, they should not be walking the streets, or taking up expensive prison space, either.
Big Entertainment is culturally very powerful in the USA and Hollywood is the center of it. Indeed, this phenomenon is very common - partially because people going to Hollywood for work offer themselves up for such abuse.
I do not expect lurid exposes nor even local enforcement to be able to change it. Therefore, they do not fear consequences.
What it may take is an outraged parent of a victim, or a victim themselves, to kill some perpetrator(s) to blow the facts of this into the open.
Wait until it’s been off the air a while and one of the parents needs their fame fix. Then the stories of what goes on behind the scenes will begin. Doesn’t help the kids in the mean time, but any parent involved with that show obviously doesn’t care about that sort of thing to begin with.
When the whole liberal utopia we live in comes crashing down, there will be a hell of a reckoning in many areas - this one included.

If you eliminated Porn from the net (and porn basically ‘built’ the net with people demanding ever faster speeds to download movies), the net would be half it’s size. That takes a lot of morally bankrupt people to fill that kind of space.

They (hollywood producers) promote their depravity—to tear down civilization and make hundreds more boys victims of their lust and depravity.
Why hasn’t Jerry Brown arrested the homosexual producers YET?
Their baseness is promoted in songs—movies—and promoted to your children to seduce them into their sick world without a Judeo-Christian God—The God of Abraham—the only God who promotes hope and goodness in the world of man. What amazes me is that the quarter’ish of society left that doesn’t wholly subscribe to that insanity is so meek about it. I’ve said in many threads that Road Warrior isn’t just a movie. Soon it will be reality. And (a large) part of me doesn’t see that as an entirely bad thing. It all has to crash and burn before we have a prayer of ‘fixing it’ - if it ever CAN be fixed. IMO, America/the world is just too far gone to ‘fix’, even relatively, any other way.
And people will IGNORE anything to get admired by masses.
Don't forget that a lot of these stars are confirming that everyone knew it was going on, who the executives are, even which boys were being shared among them. But they won't identify the predators. The are guilty by their silence.
I shutter to think how many underground pedophile networks are out there. I am sure Sanduski's 'boys club' was a farm for victims. I REALLY believe a significant group of congressmen are participants and blackmailed with pictures.

Dakota Fanning is mentioned in this article. I can’t understand how it can be legal to coach a child to act as though she is being raped. Even if she is not actually, at the time, being raped, I can not IMAGINE how traumatizing that is to an 11 YEAR OLD GIRL.
Nothing but criminal, it makes me so mad I could spit.
I am not opposed to having kids in movies/on tv, but they should not be making all these sexual wisecracks and etc., I see the kids on the sitcoms and think I would not let my kid hang out in most of these situations and here they are working at performing it all week. Like the teen boys who are apparently pretending they are homo on Glee, which I’ve only heard about, again, absolutely criminal. Or the kid on 2 and a half men, nothing but sexual innuendo crude jokes all around him all the time.

I’ll go to my grave believing fear of exposure over homosexual related issues is what accounts for the on-screen behavior of Republicans. There is just no other thing that I know of that makes people turn on a dime that fast.
As for the pedo rings, They exist in the most unlikely of places. Another personal anecdote: For many years I was involved in the Off-Road racing world. A more ‘manly’ and testosterone fueled group you’ll never find.
A few years ago, one of the bigger names, well respected as both a racer and businessman (with a GREAT wife and a then kid on the way) was busted in SoCal for distribution of kiddie porn. This was a man who I and many of us considered a friend. His excuse was ‘financial’.
Bottom line - one never really knows a person. He’s still in the pen and I hope they keep him there.
