Hopefully, it will soon become so obvious to everyone that Santorum is just hanging in as a spoiler - he doesn’t have much of a political career ahead of him, he was so badly trounced in his last election with the largest losing margin for an incumbent Republican senator ever - that people are suspicioning he’s made a deal with the devil(s) to stay in and suck up the extra votes that would give us Newt. What plum appointment has he been promised - maybe even VP?
Why isn’t he excoriating mittens like he is Newt? Looks pretty obvious. He’s getting whinier and more despicable by the day...or as was said of “Rooster” (his nickname in public school because of his demeanor (strutting?) in the debates of his last campaign “unstatesmanlike”.
Newt is so far being pretty genteel towards Santorum, but I’m sure Newt wishes Rick would give it up soon.
