In the spring of 2011, Donald Trump threatened to start a revolution within the Republican Party, appealing to the naive among Tea Partiers by promising to take on President Obama as no one else could. All too many members of the conservative media, including even some highly reputable ones, took his nonsense seriously.

If Mitt is the nominee, I will not be voting. I am thinking about starting a campaign to write in General Ben Raines although someone else said Cecil would be better. I held my nose the last time but that was the last time. No Mitt, no way.

Sadly, there are only 2 candidates left that aren't straight up shysters, and im not to certain about them as far as their hearts.
\Ive already ruled them out on their actions.
Santorum and Paul are both so sanctimonious I cant bear it.

Sure, Trump worked for his money. But it was in a field where you need to grease the hands of politicians in order to succeed. You need all kinds of permits, for instance. And there are all kinds of inspectors. At a certain point, when you are building large skyscrapers in cities, you need to have the pols on your side.
And in the cities where Trump was involved, that was mostly Democrat pols.
