5-DAY PREDICTIONS FOR NAVID NAVID (Gospel), was designed to collect data on weather conditions and monitor for natural disasters. The satellite weighs about 110 pounds (50 kilograms) and will orbit Earth at an altitude of up to 234 miles (375 kilometers), circling the planet 15 times a day. Navid, produced at an Iranian engineering university, is the third small satellite that Iran launched over the past years and is expected to remain in orbit for about two months. The two earlier satellites — Omid, launched in 2009, and Rasad, sent into orbit in June 2011 — lasted three weeks and 82 days, respectively. The satellite has advanced control technology, a higher-resolution camera and photocells to generate power.

On second thought, I guess we will know what to expect when obama makes an extended middle eastern visit.

Not much, and very much.

Doesn't matter, that is not on board that satellite.

This satellite is carrying a high res camera, advanced control(positioning controls), and who knows what other kind of detection equipment. It's purpose is to provide 'intelligence' back to Iran, for the next two months. Think about that.

If you can give me a schedule of when the satellite will be passing over Aiken County, SC during daylight hours, I’ll make it a point to be outside and give it a double one finger salute. Might even moon it :) Might even burn a Koran.

I wonder who is helping the Muzzies launch these satellites? No way are they smart enough to do this by themselves.

"How much does a suitcase nuke weigh and how much does it cost?"

"Not much, and very much.

Not far from what the payload in Iran's current satellite weighs--more than what most people have been led to believe by media broadcasts. It's not really in a "suitcase."

That said, I reckon Iran won't be firing that kind of particular nuke into orbit for an EMP strike. They'll launch something that they've modified from the designs of some of their neighbors.

They've been working with N. Korean engineers quite a bit and were on-site at the N. Korean shots, according to the South Koreans. It's likely that Pakistanis like Khan have also visited Iran. One N. Koran shot said to be a "dud" might have actually been inadequately detected due to the Russian-designed facility it was fired in. So N. Korea (lap dog of two of our other adversaries) might have a small nuke made for mounting on missiles. So might Iran.

See?

These Iranian creeps are getting a bit to uppity up of lately. Of course the Russkie and Chinese have their backs, or so it might seem. The Russians have to be getting a bit nervous of lately with the Syrian mess going on as it is. Syria supplies the only warm water port the Russians have and their long held view of close ties with the Persians and thoughts of future takeover and gaining even more warm water ports are always in the forefront of their interests.
