Ann Coulter, the columnist who just defended RomneyCare, told Bret Baier that the Tea Party would prove they are hypocrites if they vote for the candidate who “influence peddled” at Freddie Mac:

It’d be one thing if she were saying this as a supporter of Santorum, but Romney? C’mon.
Ann, Ann, Ann. You’re really in no position to call anyone a hypocrite.

Mitt can buy all of the rinos like Coulter/Drudge , as probable examples of mediot whores cashing in on the Mitt Gravy Train. The economic disaster has apparently left a lot of formerly well off Rinos/faux conservative mediots very susceptible to Romney's 30 pieces of silver. So they are cashing in and selling out to trash Newt!:

Ann is irrelevant in Conservative politics anymore. If anyone remembers, before Christie Creme announced he wasn’t running, she said that if we didn’t support him, Mittens would be the nominee and he would lose. Ann is unstable.

The politics of our declining welfare/warfare state continues its downward spiral towards a crisis of legitimacy. It’s as though the passengers of the Titanic were being exhorted to elect a new captain after the collision with the iceberg, and the leading candidates being touted to replace the incompetent incumbent were the captain of the Exxon Valdez and the captain of the Costa Concordia. What a choice! Better alternative: edge toward the life boats and make sure your flotation gear is in place and in good working order.

Regardless of what Ann says, I made up my mind I couldn’t vote for Newt when the whole Fanny/Freddie connection came out. That ended it for me. If Newt is the GOP nominee, obviously I will vote for him, but if the primary comes down to Newt/Mitt, it will be Mitt. Neither man is perfect, both have flipped and flopped...but some things bother you more than others, and that is mine.
It’s obvious Coulter is a paid Romney Flack. She was the one who said one year ago at CPAC that if Christie wasn’t the nominee Romney would be and we’d lose. This turnabout only happens when someone is paid to make such a turnabout. No one does that big of a 180 for nothing. She’s either getting $$$ or she’s hoping to cash in on some sort of political appointment if he should win. I suppose a third option is she truly believes what she said at CPAC a year ago and has some sort of interest in Obama staying where he is. I wish someone would smoke out whether or not she’s being paid by Romney, or smokes out if she has some sort of promise “on the come” from Romney.
Regardless, she has to be stunned at the retributions she’s getting hammered with from all sides. The skewering Mark Levin did over her insipid column “Three Cheers For Romney Care” was so blisteringly thorough she might never be able to live anything down again. I have to say though, I like the fact that she’s openly become the haranguing shrew I always thought her to be. Only a milque toast liberal like Maher (who probably wants a Mommy Punisher object-of-affection like Coulter) would put up with all her mouth foaming bark. No man worth his self respect would ever put up with a banshee like her for 5 minutes.

She must be getting paid a LOT for her to throw away her career like that.
Ann seems to be lost in some sort of hero worship of Romney. Anybody who disagrees with her is wrong. I used to respect Ann’s conservative views but I can’t understand her blind allegiance to Romney.

I would put up with it for 5 minutes if I had the chance to tell her to her face to shut the hell up. I’m sure she’s heard that a lot in her life.
