McDonald's has apologized and pulled an ad that came back to bite it.
The ad said eating a Chicken McBite was less risky than petting a stray pit bull, shaving your head, naming your son Sue or giving friends your Facebook password. It enraged pit bull owners and their supporters.
The radio ad for Chicken McBites only ran for a few days in the Kansas City area before the complaints started. The campaign against the ad circulated on social media sites, and the apology was delivered the same way. People who called a well-publicized toll-free number got a recorded apology.

Boo-hoo.
Chicken McNuggets are well known for mauling small children and pedestrians... many gang-bangers and other social miscreants keep chained McNuggets to protect their crib.
Pit Bulls have received a bad rap that is caused by their owners. I have attended many, many dog shows and the Pit Bulls at these shows are the happiest dogs around. Yes, they are tough dogs, as is Irish Wolf Hounds, German Shepherds and so on. None of which are aggressive unless trained to do so.
I've met good pit bull owners who would disagree.
Great ad.
Pit bulls are restricted or banned in hundreds of cities and military bases...wonder why?
I understand. There are GSD owners that raise highly aggressive dogs also. If you want protection dogs, there are some breeds that are very good at protection. Owners of these dogs need to really understand what they have. My German Shepherd is what they call a big bite dog. Others are small bite dogs. Ours comes from a long line of Shutzhund trained dogs but I am not going that route. She is a sweet animal, friendly and willing to please. The Pits I have been around are the same way. Good and bad in all breeds I guess.
ROTFLMAO!!!
My pit bull loves to bite McNuggets..in fact, he stole some right out of my daughters hand last night.
“Too many people act like easily offended little princesses today. “
Exactly! Maybe the oh, so easily offended Pit Bull owners should express their outrage towards the irresponsible owners who encouraged the aggressive behavior.
While it is not a breed of dog I would have, in general (always exceptions with any breed), the aggressiveness is caused by training or lack thereof.
I am greatly offended by people who are so easily offended. They are just a bunch of babies.
What about the Sons Named Sue lobby?
At the rate folks are offended by one ad or another, pretty soon the ad folks will stop trying to be clever and just say “McNuggets, 12 for $2” Period. End of ad.
Pit bulls are anything but gentle. It all depends on how one raises them, but most are on the wild side. Especially if they are stray. As evidenced by theses clips off Youtube.
