Grandma lurks around here once in a while, and she'd likely take a stab at running about 10,000 gigawatts down somebody's modem if she took that sort of suggestion seriously.

(She likes to claim that she's a moderating influence on me, but ain't no doubt about her opinions at all......)

A friend and I were discussing it and we came to the conclusion that we never lost a war, abortions were illegal, and there was not hyper-taxation until women got the right to vote.

I just read about the “strip club bill” How the heck can anyone oppose that? Who NEEDS to go to a strip club? If you NEED to go; then you NEED to use your own darned money and not taxpayer/welfare monies. Dimocraps who argue otherwise need to be hit with a stipper’s pole.

Nah, it’s just that a lib’s reading of “Pursuit of Happiness” gives him/her/it the unalienable right to stick their hand in other peoples’ pockets and steal all they can carry away.

Maybe that lady should find some new Catholic friends. I know very few practicing Catholics who are the way she described. However, some parishes are full of this type I suppose. We attend a pro-life, conservative Church.
