TAPPER: President Obama is going to be introducing his outline for a budget. Fed Chair Bernanke has said the lack of a budget having been passed by the Senate has had an adverse affect on growth because it’s created uncertainty. Harry Reid has said that he doesn’t think there’s a need to introduce a budget this year. Who does the president think is right, Harry Reid or Ben Bernanke?

CARNEY: Well, I think the president will be presenting his budget. That budget has spending caps set based on the Budget Control Act. And his budget will reflect the need for that — will reflect those cuts, but also reflect the priorities that he thinks are very important.

TAPPER: So therefore, the Senate should pass a budget as well.

CARNEY: I don’t have a –

TAPPER: I’m asking.

CARNEY: Well, I don’t have an opinion to express on how the Senate does its business with regards to this issue. The fact is because of the negotiations over the debt ceiling that resulted in the Budget Control Act, we have an unusual situation here in that the top lines for the budget going forward have already been set and agreed to by Republicans and Democrats alike.

TAPPER: So the — I’m not actually asking your opinion, but the White House’s opinion, because it’s the White House’s –

CARNEY: Well, I mean, I don’t have a –

TAPPER: The White House has no opinion about whether or not the Senate should pass a budget? The president’s going to introduce one. The Fed chair says not having one is bad for growth. But the White House has no opinion about whether –

CARNEY: I have no opinion — the White House has no opinion on Chairman Bernanke’s assessment of how the Senate ought to do its business.

Why pass a budget now? Let this be the only President to have never passed a budget. He won’t get a fifth chance!

The House needs to grow a pair, and simply state that there will be no more continuing resolutions to fund the government.

NONE!

Not a cent to fund ANY PART OF THE GOVERNMENT! Not a cent to fund social security, medicare, nor even the military. Shut EVERYTHING down. And the republicans need to stand up to the leftist media, not back down, and make it clear that it's the leftist dems that have actually shut down the government by breaking the law for 3 years in a row.

A decent parent works with their children to set up a budget, a child moving away from home for the first time sets up a budget. A small business MUST set up a budget. A corporation MUST set up a budget.

According to the law, the government of the USA MUST pass a budget, something that hasn't happened in nearly 3 years!

Of course, I understand why the last thing anyone in Washington wants to do is set up and live by a budget. It's far more fun to just spend money they borrow without caring, since it's not their money they're spending anyway. And without a budget, it makes it harder to place blame on who's wasting billions, if not trillions of dollars. And besides, what does the Obama regime or Harry Reid, or any leftist or "moderate" care about breaking laws. After all, they passed them to rule over US. They're special. They don't actually have to follow the laws they use to control the rest of us.

Hey, it’s only in the Constitution, therefore has no meaning within the law. This is our Presidential spokesman!

Marco Rubio was talking to Greta last night and said the Senate hadn’t voted on anything in a year. Harry Reid will not even allow anything to be discussed. Even things both sides agree on. Its Obamas tactic to stall everything.
