The free market used to work pretty darn well.
Then the Progressives started introducing aspects of socialism into our economic system.
Decade after decade, more and more socialism became a feature of our political and economic lives -- they called it a "mixed economy".
Now we are at the point where the whole system is about to collapse.

And the conclusion is: The failure of the Mixed Economy just shows that the free market has failed.

And it is brilliance like that which dooms us.

On the right track, but the point is that it’s necessary to ELIMINATE those rules, NOT “fix” them.

Whenever governments get involved in business, they INVARIABLY f*ck it up utterly.

Give business back to the entrepreneurial class and GET OUT OF THE WAY.

That’s how to restore an economy; there’s no other way.
