Wenzel/WND Poll Says Paul Strongest Against Obama
World Net Daily ^ | 2/8/12 | WND

Posted on 02/09/2012 9:09:16 AM PST by Buchal

. . . In every case except the match-up against Ron Paul, more than 20 percent of Republican voters said they are more likely to support Obama than the Republican challenger. And Ron Paul is close, as 19 percent of Republicans said they are more likely to support Obama than Paul.

. . . Obama would defeat all of the four Republicans if the election were held today, but Ron Paul fares the best against the incumbent. Obama leads Paul, 44 percent to 40 percent, with 16 percent undecided.

“This is likely a reflection of discontent over Obama’s handling of the economy and, in particular, his outsized appetite for deficit spending,” observed Wenzel. “Paul has far and away offered the clearest and most serious plan to cut federal spending, and it appears to be recognized by these survey respondents.”

Romney also is within single digits of Obama, currently trailing, 48 percent to 41 percent. Obama leads both Gingrich and Rick Santorum Santorum by double-digits. Obama leads Gingrich, 50 percent to 36 percent, and Santorum, 49 percent to 34 percent.

This is not consistent with other polls I have seen, and I do not understand the discrepancy.

Rasmussen says Santorum would defeat Obama 45 to 43. World net daily is not a reliable poll.

I guess if you looked hard enough you could find a favorable poll under a rock for Ron Paul (Pot). Of course if you are stoned enough you could fantasize one if there are no rocks.

Ron Paul supporters are registered Republican for now. They voted for Obama before and they will when Paul loses again. That 20% lines up with Paul’s “Republican” voters.

WND has gone all Lew Rockwell of late and I’ve stopped reading in. While I generally don’t mind libertarians that much there are some really loony ones (Rockwell being the poster child).

The discrepancy is that moonbats are doing the polling and they are polling moonbats. That being the case, I would still vote for a constitution respecting lunatic like Ron Paul over an American hating Marxist like ObaMao. Even lunatics get some things right.

The best of my memory it was Obama 47 Paul 39. Paul was the only one not with in 3-4 points or beating Obama.

Wait a minute there is a bigger story in this article... I would say 20% of the Republican Establishment are what Freepers call RINOs. So it would not surprise me if they voted for Obama in 2012.

Look at how the GOP Establishment is trying to force us with Mitt Romney who is a Liberal at best. When we should be putting in a conservative that could be a stark contrast with Obama.

You know if Newt, Santorum, or even Paul were nomintated to run against Obama, then these RINOS (20%) would vote for Obama.

So you have to ask yourself can we change the Republican Party within or is it time for a new party.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha . . . . . . !!!!

And, up to this point, I thought only DEMOCRATS wewre the masters of cooking numbers!!!

What this “poll” actually says is that the moonbats on the right have the best chance of defeating the moonbats on the left!!!

So, this election is strictly out of bizarro world and pits one group of moonbats against another group of moonbats!!!

So, those of us who don’t fall into the moonbat category either have to STOP drinking . . . . . . . or START drinking a whole lot MORE!!!!

Wenzel is Farah's own polling firm. He uses to when he wants to convince people of the massive support birtherism has.

You won't see it anywhere in the real world.

"This is not consistent with other polls I have seen, and I do not understand the discrepancy."

That's because this is Ron Paul's "pollster". LOL

Limbaugh just mentioned that on his radio show a couple of minutes ago. bttt
