The Westboro Baptist Church, which has gained infamy for protesting at the funerals of men and women killed in combat, will have a new target on Saturday: the services for two little boys slain by their father.
The church, whose "God hates fags" signs and messages have been seen across the country, intends to be at the funeral of Charlie Powell, 7, and his brother, Braden, 5. Saturday at the Life Center Church in Tacoma.
The boys died Sunday after their father , Josh Powell, blew up their Pierce County home.

I remember Phelps with a sign that said “Fag Dole” when Dole announced for President.
Phelps knows that public figures can't sue him very easily, I think we should find some people to harass Phelps, who have the resources to do battle with him in Court.
They should get the same treatment everywhere the got in Brandon Mississippi, it would stop their crap.
This past fall they claimed they were going to travel to my old home town in northern Michigan for the funeral of a serviceman but they never showed up.
The media needs to deny them the attention they want by completely ignoring them but that's not likely to happen tho because they're a useful tool for the media.

Phelps is a disbarred lawyer, founder of the Phelps Chartered law firm, and a former civil rights activist.
Phelps earned a law degree from Washburn University in 1964, and founded the Phelps Chartered law firm.
The first notable cases were related to civil rights. “I systematically brought down the Jim Crow laws of this town,” he claims.
Phelps’ daughter was quoted as saying, “We took on the Jim Crow establishment, and Kansas did not take that sitting down.
In the 1980s, Phelps received awards from the Greater Kansas City Chapter of Blacks in Government and the Bonner Springs branch of the NAACP, for his work on behalf of black clients.
On July 20, 1979, Phelps was permanently disbarred from practicing law in the state of Kansas, though he continued to practice in Federal courts.
In 1985, nine Federal judges filed a disciplinary complaint against Phelps and five of his children, alleging false accusations against the judges. In 1989, the complaint was settled; Phelps agreed to stop practicing law in Federal court permanently, and two of his children were suspended for periods of six months and one year.
Nate Phelps, estranged son of Fred Phelps, claims he never had a relationship with his abusive father when he was growing up. He alleged that, in addition to hurting others in this world, his father used to physically abuse his wife and children by beating them with his fists and the handle of a mattock to the point of bleeding.

I know that. I just wanted to give them a dose of their own medicine. They say God hates fags, fallen soldiers, incinerated little boys, etc; I say God hates Westboro. In fact, if I had the money and time, I’d keep track of when one of these “Baptists” died and show up at his or her funeral in a sandwich board with that written on it.
I really wish the media would stop reporting on these pieces of excrement. They are media whores. If they stopped getting media attention they would eventually go away.
These cretins thrive on publicity, and bring cameras with them to all events they go to. They do not believe anyone would dare attempt to kill any of them. If someone did kill one or more of these cretins, they others would file a huge lawsuit - and knowing how today’s “justice” system in this country works, they would win that suit.
That is exactly what the Westboro frauds want. Then they will sue their beaters in civil court for damages, real and imaginary plus grossly inflated legal fees.
They purposely pick events like this looking for distraught and emotionally worked up people as marks for their legal con game.
It will be extreme irony if the Occupy peeps get sucked into the Westboro puppet show.
Yeah, if one were to kill one of them, they would be better off to get them all. Save time in court. Just plead guilty and take the time.
I actually think Phelps and his crew are secretly financed and directed by some “gay” rights group for the purpose of making opposition to the “gay” political agenda look disreputable.
