Stranger and stranger.
So the deputy fired to ‘save the children’. Fired through the glass side window. Tinted glass at night precludes his seeing others in the vehicle with no back-light? Pulled in behind Loggins - Lights & siren? If not why not? Loggins returned to the vehicle and reached in before the deputy shot? The vehicle was moving when he shot?
Way too many inconsistencies in this cover-up!

This entire event reeks.
It's likely because the Marine had no weapon. Otherwise the local government would have eagerly revealed that to the world on day one.
