Stranger and stranger.

So the deputy fired to ‘save the children’. Fired through the glass side window. Tinted glass at night precludes his seeing others in the vehicle with no back-light? Pulled in behind Loggins - Lights & siren? If not why not? Loggins returned to the vehicle and reached in before the deputy shot? The vehicle was moving when he shot?

Way too many inconsistencies in this cover-up!

Thanks for the ping.

The deputy who shot and killed an unarmed Marine sergeant after a predawn traffic stop said the Marine was acting so "irrationally" that it seemed dangerous to let him drive away with his two daughters, an official said Friday.

So when the Marine -- later identified as Sgt. Manny Loggins Jr. of Camp Pendleton -- climbed back into his GMC Yukon and turned the ignition, the deputy opened fire,...

Ah, so it was just a traffic stop!?! The OCSD story begins to degrade.

Amormino acknowledged that this version of events differed from an earlier account released by the Sheriff’s Department, in which the deputy reportedly opened fire because he feared for his own life.

What a surprise.

First the officer is “afraid for his life” now he was “afraid for the daughters”. The story has changed.

The wheels are coming off here.

This entire event reeks.

Funny no mention of a weapon???

It's likely because the Marine had no weapon. Otherwise the local government would have eagerly revealed that to the world on day one.
